As class finally ended the guys and I strolled out, we peered at the bumbling crowd of students.

"Don't forget your homework you nuisances!" Miss Sidan shouted from the empty classroom

"Yeah sure miss, I'll be here bright and early to give it to you" I responded. The guys sniggered.

"She wants you to give her something alright, if you know what I meannnn!" Weston teased nudging me in the side of my ribs

I shook my head, "Nah, I'd never go there," I responded.

We walked down the hallway and giggles from girls filled our ears as we walked past. Glares from guys that never got giggles from girls were shot our way like an arrow to a target.

People always seemed to think I was a playboy, a bad boy. Sure I liked to mess around and I've slept with a few girls, but not as many as they thought. I wasn't what they liked to call a 'man whore'.

Girls just loved to throw themselves at me a, few of them I'd entertain. Most of the time I'd shrug them of, being more comfortable with my own company. Or doing something with the guys.

"I'm gonna go grab some food. You want some or you guys on a diet for your mansss!" Lucas taunted

"Shut up Lucas," we all said in unison throwing our backpacks at him watching him crumble to the floor in agony.

"I take that as a yes your dieting then girls?" He squeaked out from under our backpacks.

This dude really didn't know when to quit, I shook my head and chuckled.

We grabbed our backpacks from him, watching him sigh out in relief as the weight of our bags were removed.

Lucas laughed and put his hands up as if admitting surrender.

We traipsed over towards the cafeteria. It was huge. The bustling noise of dinner ladies, students and drinks machines filled the room. The smell of greasy food flew up my nose, making my nostrils flare in disgust.

Funny how the school liked to promote healthy eating, yet they used a tonne of grease in their food, more than regular fast food joints I'd say and they cost a whole lot more.

Whilst we waited in line a group of girls were whispering, giggling and glancing over at us.

One of them came up to us. Short red hair that covered her chubby cheeks, she was petite and smelt like strawberries.

She looked down like a child that had broken a very expensive vase in their fathers office in which they'd been told they were forbidden to enter. She blew out breath lowly, her cheeks turning a light scarlet.

"Erm, m-my ahem, my friends over there were wandering if you'd take my number. They said I should come and ask and stop being shy. They said something about womaning up." She said in a hushed tone.

She handed a small piece of paper to me I opened it up and peered down. Her phone number was scribbled down in blue ink. I stared down at her intently and smiled.

The guys were looking at me curiously craning their necks to see what was on the piece of paper. I handed it to Lucas, his eyes widened in surprise as he opened it and saw his name on the top of the piece of paper. A small grin appeared on his face then it vanished.

"You do know I'm Lucas right?" He narrowed his eyebrows and looked at the girl curiously.

Her cheeks went a deep rouge red, almost as red as her hair.
