"Ji-Won! It's so late, why didn't you pick up my call? Did something happen?"

"Nothing happened, I was at the park again," Ji-Won answered, sitting down on his couch and placing his bag on the table next to it.

"How was your day today?"

"Good, not much happened."

"That's good."

"Brother, I need to go shower now," Ji-Won said.

"Alright, we'll talk tomorrow, take care!"

"Bye," Ji-won replied, hanging up and placing his phone on his bag. He leaned back against the cushions and stared at the ceiling. It's true that nothing happened that day. He tried to decline Mia's compensation again after she spilled water on him. Charles was there as usual, telling him not to get close to Mia.

He sighed, standing up and taking his bag and phone to his room before going to shower. He took a while longer, constantly thinking about the same thing for a long time while letting the water hit his body. After he got changed and brushed his teeth, he sat down at his study desk which he had next to his bed. He turned on his music and started on his homework.

He didn't have much to do that day and it was about nine o'clock. Oh right! I didn't check on Tiger yet. He packed his bag and left his room to find the grey tabby. He must be hungry, maybe he'll come out after I've left something. He walked to his kitchen to get some cat food and poured it into the bowl on the ground. He waited for a few minutes while calling out to the tabby to see if it would show up. That's strange...He walked around the house, determined to find his cat, however to no avail. He yawned, feeling a little tired and wanted to go rest for the night. Still a little worried about Tiger, he reluctantly retreated back to his room. He turned off the lights and sat down on his bed.

He laid down and rolled over to face the wall. Usually he'd sleep quickly with not much issues especially since he was already tired, yet he was just tossing and turning, unable to sleep. He laid on his back, staring at the dark ceiling. He grumbled and turned back onto his side and facing the wall again before managing to fall asleep.

"Good morning!" Joni greeted, energetic as usual, even in the mornings.

Charles watched from afar, basically following them like he'd usually do.

"Good morning," Ji-Won replied, turning around to the the trio. Joni quickly walked in front before turning to look at her friends.

"Let's walk to school together," Mia suggested.

Ji-Won didn't refuse yet didn't seem like he agreed and let the others lead the way. Charles quietly followed behind them.

"Why don't you go walk with them?"

Charles was startled and glanced back at where the voice came from, "Corey are you trying to kill me?!"

"Why would I do that?" Corey asked, laughing before taking Charles and dragging him to the rest of the group.

"Corey what are you doing?! You traitor!" Charles shouted hurriedly.

"Oh?" Emilia turned around to see the other two, "what are you two doing?"

The others had also stopped walking to see Charles being pulled by Corey.

"Ah, good morning-!" Corey greeted.

"Did Charles cause trouble again?" Joni asked.

"What do you think I am?! I'm not someone who'd stir up trouble in purpose! Don't look down on me, mortal!" Charles replied defensively.

"Then why are you dragging him?" Joni pointed at Corey while thinking of unnecessary theories.

"Just to walk to school together!" Corey answered cheerfully.

Ji-Won seemed unconcerned, catching himself subconsciously staring at Charles. He blinked and looked away. He began walking to school without waiting for anyone.

"Well let's go before we are late for school," Emilia said quickly, glancing at Ji-Won. She followed also began making her way to school, Joni and Mia next to her.

"What's the rush? There's still time," Charles asked, pulling out of Corey's grasp and following behind them.

"Better to be safe than sorry I guess," Corey answered.

Charles said nothing more, listening to the rest of the group. After a while, he was staring through the girls and at Ji-Won who was still ahead of them, walking alone. Why should I care? Charles shook his head and began looking around the place until they reached school. Instead of hanging out at 5A like he'd usually do, Charles bid goodbye for the time being and went back to his own class. When he sat down, Ji-Won was just reading a book next to him.

"Cero?" Ji-Won called, putting down his book.

"I told you to stop calling me that!" Charles replied quickly and angrily.

Ji-Won seemed to have wanted to say something but closed his mouth and looked back to the front, "nothing."

"You're seriously going to call me for no reason?" Charles asked.

"Sorry, it's nothing," Ji-Won apologised.

Just then, the bell rang and Mr Forest walked into class.

The last bell rang, indicating the end of the day. Their teacher was quickly assigning homework before leaving. Charles stood up first, picking up his bag. Ji-Won followed soon after. They walked out of their class, going past 5A.

  "Charles!"

Charles turned to see Corey call to him. Corey quickly went up to him with a basketball in his hands.

"Do you want to play today?" Corey asked.

Charles was going to decline immediately at first but thought about it and glanced at Ji-Won who was waiting for him.

"Ji-Won, do you want to watch basketball for a bit?" He asked, assuming he knew the answer.

Ji-Won slightly shook his head. Charles turned back to Corey, "nah, got some business to take care of, maybe tomorrow or something."

"Okay then, cya Charles!" Corey waved and walked away.

"Let's go!" Charles said, leading the way. Ji-Won didn't say anything and followed his friend. They walked out of school, surprisingly, they never bumped into Joni and the other two.
