My One True Love

Chapter 1: Him

Luca's p.o.v:

My first thought in the morning is always him. His deep, warm hazel eyes that I could get lost in and his blinding, pearly white smile that makes my heart pound against my chest. God, I'd do anything to be the one who makes him smile like that.

I gaze dreamily at him from across the library, oh how I wish Count Chocula senpai would notice me! My eyes turn to the book that he's holding in his bony hands, long fingers caressing the spine. The cover reads: Twilight. Senpai must like that book, he seems so invested in it. Maybe, I should try to get his attention.

I anxiously walk towards him, blood rushing to my face as I stepped closer and closer until he tore his gaze away from the words on the page and looked at me. For a moment I was frozen, breathtaken by being this close to him finally. Snapping back to reality, I smiled awkwardly and said:

''Uhm, hi! I noticed you like Twilight.''

''Yeah, it was recommended to me by some of my family, it's pretty good so far. What do you think of it?''

My mind went blank. The fuck I'm supposed to say? I've never seen the movies let alone read the books!

''O-Oh yeah, the books are really interesting. I haven't got around to watching the movies yet, I wonder if those are any good?'

He smiled at me, a small, genuine laugh escaping his lips. I felt my heart pound against my chest, such a simple gesture making me swoon. His laugh is so angelic and his smile instantly lights up the room.

He glances at the sketchbook I held tightly to my chest and holds his hand out.

''Here, let me write down my number and maybe we can watch them together sometime.''

My face turned bright red at his words. He's giving me his number? And he wants to watch movies with me? Like a date?

I hand him the book, hands shaking in excitement. I watch as he scribbles down his number on the inside cover and passes it back to me.

''I'll talk to you later, Luca.'' he says. He smiles one last time before walking away.

For a moment, I'm completely star struck as I try to comprehend what just happened. Not only does Count Chocula Senpai know my name but he gave me his number too! This day couldn't get any better!

*Time skip*

Sam's pov

I sit in maths class alone, mindlessly twirling my pen in my hand as I wait for the lesson to begin.

"Hey! How are you?" His sexy and h A w T blue smurf voice made me turn my gaze towards my left, where he stood. His 6'4 body towers over me and I slowly lift my head to look into his piercing eyes.

"G-good!" I reply, silently cursing myself for stuttering but I couldn't help it he's just so beautiful and stunning I can't help but be nervous around him!

He places his bag underneath the desk before sitting down next to me. My heart beat accelerates and I can hear it pounding in my ears. He's so close to me I can smell his mouth watering chocolate aroma.

I pull myself together quickly and try to brush off the blush still dusting my cheeks. I open my book and start writing down the date. Thoughts of my senpai and how close he is to me run through my mind as I desperately try to concentrate.

Suddenly, a light tap on my shoulder breaks me from my thoughts.

"Hey, I'm sorry but do you have a pen I could borrow?" Senpai asks me quietly. I nod quickly and reach for my pencil case. After rummaging around for a few short seconds, I hand him a pen. As he took the pen from me, his hand gently brushes against mine. Before I can even think about it, he's already grabbed the pen and started writing. I try to hide my blushing face with my hands and focus on the work in front of me but I can't stop myself from smiling.

Before I know it, the lesson ends and as I'm placing my book in my bag, Count Chocula Senpai hands me back my pen. I smile gratefully and place it back in my pencil case and continue clearing my stuff away.

"Here, have this too" he says, before handing me a small note.

I look at him, confused, before unraveling the note to reveal a series of numbers. Senpai's phone number?!

"I'll talk to you later, Sam" he says and walks out the classroom.

Once again, I can't stop smiling as I put the note in my pocket and exit the classroom too.

As I'm walking, I'm interrupted by someone standing in front of me. Luca, they're in all my classes and my form but we don't really talk much. What could they want?

"I see you've been talking to Count Chocula Senpai"

"What me and MY Senpai do is none of your business"

"YOUR Senpai?! He belongs to me!"

"Excuse me?! Count Chocula Senpai belongs to me and me only!"

"Well, we're meant to be together so he's MINE"

"Really? I sit next to him in maths so I've been closer to him than you've ever been!"

"Well, I've talked to him in the library and guess what? He smiled at me!"

"He used one of my pens and his finger brushed against mine!"

"How dare you touch my senpai!"

"MY senpai thank you very much" I say, "Senpai will fall in love with me so you should just give up now!" I turn and walk down the corridor. Who do they think they are? Of course senpai is going to fall in love and end up with me! Just you wait.
