Off the coast of midway (1:00 pm)
A small task force from Pearl Harbor was examining midway in case of any siren activity. Nimitz with the girls from Kure were surveying the surrounding water for any abyssal and sirens. Nimitz was documenting her findings in a notebook to take back to base, until.
Nimitz: I detected enemy ships northwest of us!
Fubuki: I haven't detected any ships in that direction.
Nimitz: it's because I have a better radar system.
As Nimitz deplored her aircraft to wards the enemy, the other girls soon detected them. The carriers launched planes and Yamato(KC) was aiming her guns at them and fired. After the battle was over the girls check the rest of the area and went back to Pearl Harbor.
When they got back Amagi was standing at the docks waiting for them.
Nimitz: what do you need Amagi?
Amagi: I need to speak with them for a bit.
As Nimitz walked off Amagi went up to the girls from Kure and stated.
Amagi: you base needs y'all back for now.
Kongou(KC): but why?
Amagi: because of recent abyssal and siren activity near y'all's base.
Fubuki(KC) how close to our base?
Amagi: they never said but y'all need to head back, but don't y'all may return when y'all are given permission by your admiral.
As Amagi left them, they went to their dorms and packed what they brought and departed from Pearl Harbor.
As the next day begun Nimitz and Enty(cvn-65) were walking towards the garden to have tea with queen Elizabeth. As they sat down Belfast fixed them some tea and biscuits.
QE: so how are eagle unions strongest ships.
Enty: just fine, how about you?
QE: splendid.
Just then Bismarck and hood along with Iowa and Yamato showed up.
QE: Dreadnought sever our new guest some tea, please.
Dreadnought: yes your majesty.
Iowa: what kind of tea do y'all have for us?
Belfast: we have Darjeeling, Assam, orange pekoe, and earl grey teas.
Iowa: I will take Assam tea then.
As they all got their severing of tea, Iowa glanced over toward Yamato. Nimitz watched Iowa look and then turn away from Yamato. She leaned into Enty ear and whispered.
Nimitz: I think Iowa wants to challenge Yamato.
Enty: you don't say.
As the tea party went on Bismarck started drinking root beer with hood nagging Bismarck how that's not appropriate at the time. Then Nimitz confronted Iowa about Yamato.
Nimitz: hey Iowa, do you want to fight Yamato?
As if time had stop everyone turned their heads towards Iowa waiting for a response.
Iowa: well you see I, uhm
Yamato: I wouldn't mind a little duel if you want to.
Enty: that will be a good idea, we just need Amagi approval.
Amagi: my approval of what?
Enty:(jumping out of her seat) When did you get here!
Amagi: just now, so what is it.
Iowa: I wanted to have a duel with Yamato here.
Amagi: do you wish to duel Yamato?
Yamato: yes ma'am I do.
Amagi: ok, y'all can have your duel this Saturday.
Nimitz: this will be fun, also were is the admiral?
Belfast: he is with Sheffield.
As Saturday rolled around Yamato and Iowa were do last minute checks on their equipment before the duel, when all was done they both had their rigging at the ready for someone to make the first move.
*BOOM*
Iowa fired first and started moving with Yamato trying to keep up with iowa, while iowa moved in close to have a better penetration in Yamato's armor. Yamato fired her guns with one of her shells disabling one of iowa's turrets.
Yamato: miss iowa I didn't hurt you too much did I.
Iowa: no, let's continue.
Yamato: good, main guns fire!
With vestal, musashi, the admiral, Georgia, Amagi, and Nimitz watching the dual as some of the other fleet girls watched from afar.
*BOOM*
One of iowa shells was able to penetrate one of Yamato turrets. As iowa move around Yamato to get another shot, Yamato fire a round at iowa but missed with iowa fireing again at another turret but it didn't penetrate. When iowa moved again to get another shot, yamato fired and hit iowa in the head and near the stomach, iowa was knocked out cold. Soon vestal went in to get iowa to the hospital for repairs.
At the hospital Yamato was feeding some jell-o while iowa rigging was being repaired and her being bandage up, with Yamato receiving minor scratches and some major repairs on her rigging.
Yamato: open wide iowa.
Iowa: ahhh.
Yamato: good girl.
Iowa: you know you don't have to take care of me.
Yamato: don't worry about it, maybe I should have gone easy on you.
Iowa: no it's fine, i made the decision for us to have this duel anyway.
Yamato: you know if you me too i could pamper you anytime you want.
Iowa: as in like, a hotel, hotel Yamato.
Yamato: please don't call me hotel Yamato.
Iowa: ok.
Just then the admiral and Nimitz walked in.
Nimitz: all right iowa, your ready to leave the hospital, but due to heavy damage too your's and hers rigging y'all are out combat for now until they are fully repaired.
Admiral: hey, that was great fight you two had.
Iowa: thank you little one, come here give me a hug.
Admiral: ok.
As the admiral hugged both iowa and Yamato, he went off with Nimitz for dinner.
Yamato: I do wonder sometimes.
Iowa: wonder about what.
Yamato: why do we have a kid as our admiral?
Iowa: I don't know, you been here longer then i have.
Yamato: yeah, for only a month.
Iowa: maybe we should ask Amagi.
