I looked at the clock. 3:08. Only 7 more minutes until I was free for the next 18 hours. And just 48 hours until I was free from school. As I waited for the clock to speed up, I reviewed the year I my head.
First, we start off with the laziest teacher ever. Never gives us homework, never gives us class work. It's like an extra free period.
Then, my boyfriend and I celebrate our one year anniversary. I still remember it as if it was yesterday. After put romantic dinner, we took a horse drawn carriage through the park.
And then, there was today. All I could think about was the summer. The bell had just rung as my two best friends, Emilie and Chloe ran over to me.
"Hey. My moms working late again. Can we chill at your place?" Chloe asks.
"Sure" I say, walking out to the street. "Are you as excited for summer as I am?" Emilie asks. "Yeah. Guess what? Jones Figs is having an end of year party tomorrow" Chloe answers.Party's. The best thing in the world. I'll be partying all summer. As well as picnicking, picking, and dancing. That is, until I got home.
My friends and their parents had to leave before we could even say goodbye. That's when it happened. My perfect summer would be ruined.
"Your going to spend the summer with your father!"
Hey readers. Let me just remind you that this is 100% cliche. I've always wanted to write stories like this, and now I can! Yay!! Stay tuned for more, cliche chapters!"
XOXO,
Abby
