To many things had gone wrong. The staff were neglecting the poor animatronics, and sometimes forgetting to turn them off at night, so they ran for much, much longer than what they could handle. It was hot in the summer, even with the AC on, and the silicon masks of the characters was beginning to melt. The synthetic fur was mangy, and had also began melting. They were a sorry sight. The band used to be the best part about this Showbiz, but that was forever ago. Its not the 80s anymore. now the manager has been forced to permanently close the curtains curtains untill they get dismantled. It was sad. He remembers going to Showbiz pizza as a child. He loved seeing the animatronics, they were his favorite part. Now he has to hire someone to take them apart for scrap. He would keep them running if he could, but for some reason, he feels like they're in pain. His staff failed too clean them, and major repairs would break the already cracking bank. It might give the restaurant the means to renovate if they were sold for parts. They might be able to get out of debt for a while. "This is part of my job. I have to do what's best for the restaurant, not what I want." He muttered to himself. He looked online to see if there were any mechanics for hire, he found a few but one stuck out too him. Disney imaginere, Nut Porter. He was taking some time off to get away from the park. "Understandable." The manager said quietly and sent Nut a DM asking what he charges and all that. The two of them eventually agree that Nut, (and possibly some friends) would come and get the animatronics off the stage. Nut would deliver the scrap in a week or so, but he would rather take the characters apart at his workshop. Nut would show up about 5 days to start the removal process. And eventually, the manager would sell the bits. He already had an interested buyer, it was gonna work out. And he could finally do a bit more with the restaurant.
Something struck him as soon as he was about to leave. He had a very strong urge to see his broken friends again. He put his keys on a counter and hit a button to raise the curtain. What he saw frightened him a bit. The band was in worse shape than he remembered. Fatz had one eyelid stuck open with the other closed. His paw was jammed so it was stuck hovering over the organ. Beach Bear's fur was so Tangled and melted he looked even more like a yeti than normal. His mask was also quite melted and torn around the eyes. Dook also had a jammed arm, it was stuck on top of the crash and his eyes were both stuck open. Mitzy's left ear was almost completely gone, as well as both pompoms. Loony bird couldn't even get up anymore. And Billy Bob was not far off from Beach bear. Ralf might have gotten the worst of it though. He has such a long snout. Its flat to his face now. Completely melted. The rubber around his eyes was drooping. The manager sighed at the sight of his once favorite characters. He lowerd the curtains, hand left without another word.
