So we're at the part where my sister's getting out cats and I ask if she needs any help. She tells me no and my Dad snaps at me for not leaving yet. I quickly run out the door.

I never got a chance to really see the fire. But I remember everything being tinted in a halloween Orange. Not faintly or anything, it was almost bold. I did get a glance of Luna looking back and bolting with the leash in my hand, causing me to get out hastily. I don't know if I would still really want to see the fire. But I'm okay that I didn't, I guess. And another thing that surprised me was the warmth. It was the comforting, and would probably soothe me if not for being in this situation.

My mind was so clear in that moment. Before I was sure I would pee myself, but it's nice to know that I can still have a clear conscience in case any other life threatening situation occurred. I guess I take some pride to that. But it feels wrong of me to for some reason. I was completely logical and confident in what I was doing.

Before I go on, you have to know that there are two doors to each building. One in the front and the other in the back. The front door was on fire so I had to go to the back.(obviously)

I was so grateful for having that back door. Otherwise it would make it quite harder to escape from where we were at.

So I push the back door open and feel the cold ground underneath my bare feet. But it wasn't something to bother me, as I never liked shoes outside and preferred the warm grass. Luna moved quickly, causing me to do so like she was the head of the train and I, her cargo.

I don't remember much of anything else. It feels like I blacked out and before I knew it, me and my whole family is sitting on a tattered blanket out in the grass watching our home burn. I learn later on that the fire slithered up to the third floor, and dropped the floor. Which landed right where I was sleeping that night on the living room floor.

Well, I have to go to sleep before anyone catches me awake. It's quite late hear, so night, to no one listening to this story.
