Haneul opened her eyes when light hit her face , she blinked getting accustomed to the bright light and then suddenly remembered the events of the day before which brought a smile on her face, then she remembered that she needed to get out of bed
"It's morning already, I had better start getting ready" She stood up from her bed and tied up her hair with a small smile on her face

 "I can't believe I'll finally be able to go outside, I'm so happy" Shaking her head with a laugh she went over to the screen door and opened it only to be greeted by her personal maid , a twenty one year old girl named Haru , Haru was only an year older than Haneul , who had turned 20 a few months back

"Princess Haneul, the bath is prepared, we have kept everything ready"  Haru said with a gentle smile while gesturing to Haneul to proceed towards the comfort room

"Thank you Haru-ssi" Haneul said with a grateful nod of her head 

"It is my pleasure your highness" Haru said with a polite bow and started walking towards the comfort room with the Princess walking behind her 

They walked silently for a few minutes before they reached a red screen door with steam flowing out from the bottom and sides of the door

Haru knocked once on the screen door and a young maid opened the door while bowing 

Haru and Haneul entered the room which was filled with the fragrance of soap and perfume along with the scent of roses

All the maids bowed towards the Princess to which Haneul responded with a nod and a smile

A group of maids came up towards Haneul and led her towards a stone bath behind a screen

The screen was kept there to give the Princess a bit of privacy

The maids carefully removed Haneul's sleepwear leaving her in only her underclothes and then proceeded to help the Princess enter the steaming stone bath that was filled with clear water and rose petals

Haneul slowly let her stiff body sink into the warm fragrant water, her muscles relaxed and she sighed with satisfaction, she turned towards the maids and nodded at them signalling them to take their leave, the maids bowed and left  Haneul's side to give her some privacy

Haneul felt at peace for the first time in days, she let her mind wander to the things Hoseok had told her about all the things outside

"The sky is blue and purple in the early morning and when the sun comes up the sky shifts colours, the sky becomes orange and red , it's fascinating seeing the change of colours in the sky, when I saw the colours I immediately thought that the sky is like a sad soul becoming angry, it's beautiful seeing it from the beach where the sand is smooth and soft while the sea is rough and calm at the same time with waves splashing against the rocks, the sunset is even more beautiful" Hoseok had said with a soft smile
"What else is there outside Hoseok Oppa?" Haneul had asked curiously
"There's so many beautiful things outside the palace little sister, the people are all so different and happy outside, the homes they live in are small yet beautiful, the people at the center and the outskirts of the Kingdom treat each other so differently compared to how stern and stiff the people in the palace are, the subjects act like they're family, it's colourful and happy outside the palace" Hoseok had said with a sad smile
"I hope that one day I'll be able to see all that with my own eyes" Haneul said with a smile
"You will be able to see all that one day Haneul, I promise " Hoseok had said with a determined expression while holding Haneul close to his side 

Haneul slowly opened her eyes and smiled, she silently got out of the warm water and tapped on the screen signalling that she was done with her bath, Haru came towards the Princess with a towel in her hands followed by a group of maids holding Haneul's clothes and other items

Haneul quickly dried herself with the towel and went towards the group of maids who helped her get dressed 
The maids dressed the Princess up in a silk hanbok and pinned her hair to the side with a jewelled pin, silky shoes adorned Haneul's feet

The maids bowed when they had finished helping the Princess, Haneul gave them a grateful smile and a nod to which the maids smiled and took their leave

"Shall we go now your highness?" Haru said with a small smile
Haneul nodded and smiled back 

Haru and the Princess went towards the Dining Hall for Breakfast, they reached the hall in a few minutes, a guard bowed to Haneul and opened the screen door, Haneul and Haru entered the Hall and saw that maids were walking around the table setting down food items and plates

"I shall take your leave now, your highness" Haru said with a bow and left

Haneul looked over to the table and saw Hoseok smiling and beckoning her over to the table, she noticed that Father and Mother weren't there yet

"Haneul did you sleep well yesterday?" Hoseok asked with a bright smile
"Yes, Hoseok Oppa I did, what about you?" Haneul asked with a smile similar to her older brother's
"Ah, I slept really well too"  Hoseok said while grinning
The siblings conversed with each other while waiting for their parents 

"Your Majesty" A Guard said while bowing, Hoseok and Haneul looked up to see their Mother

"Children, I'm sorry to have kept you both waiting" The Queen said after coming up to the table with a soft smile

"Will Father not be eating with us today?" Hoseok asked curiously 

"Ah, your Father had to go for a important meeting about the training both of you will be leaving for, he said there has been some change of plans, he requested that both of you meet him once you're done with breakfast" The Queen said in a serious tone

Hoseok and Haneul looked at each other surprised 

"Well let's eat breakfast then, shall we children?" Mother said with a small smile on her face

The siblings nodded with a laugh

They quickly started eating, while the three members of the Royal family were eating, Haneul was eating at a slow pace while thinking about what the change of plans could be

"Why does Father want to meet us today, I really hope he won't change his decision about me going along for the training" Haneul thought with a blank look in her eyes

Soon enough all of them had finished eating and the Queen stood up and called Haru over 

"Haru, please take Hoseok and Haneul to His Majesty, The King's room, I shall take my leave now" The Queen said with a small smile and then proceeded to walk out of the room 

Haru bowed and gestured to the siblings, signalling them to start walking

They walked for a few minutes and finally reached The King's room

Haru tapped on the screen door and stood back

Haneul closed her eyes and let out a shaky breath

She opened her eyes slowly when she heard the screen door being opened 

"Please Lord, I hope Father will still let me go along for the training trip" Haneul prayed over and over again in her head

Haru bowed to the siblings and took her leave walking away from them in a graceful manner

"Children, you must be wondering why I called the both of you here" The King said with a small smile

Haneul and Hoseok nodded 

"Well, there has been a slight change of plans" The King said with a serious expression

Haneul clasped her skirt with her sweaty palms and held her breath nervously , waiting to hear what her Father would say
