Luke’s POV
“So, did you get what you wanted, Luke?” my dad asked as I got into the car and the driver started to drive us away from that girl’s apartment. I smirked and dad looked at me confused.
“I’m not sure, really. She is really feisty, which makes the chase even more interesting. She cut me off midsentence……………..TWICE and she talked back to me and made a smartass comment. She’s good………….i like it.” I started dazing off into my own world and thinking of that girl, Tara……………hmmmmmmm, she is really interesting.
Her hair was so messy and she looked so angry. And her neighbour……!!! I chuckled as I remembered what her neighbour did. OMG!!!!!!!!! I broke down into a fit of laughter as I remembered her neighbour. Oh My Gosh!!!!! “Nick, remember that girl’s neighbour…………remember what she did when she opened the door for us……!!!!” I said and Nick broke into a fit of laughter.
Dad looked at us as if we were crazy. “What exactly happened?” dad asked and we slowly stopped laughing. “W……we went to see what kind of neighbour that girl has and……..and when we knocked on the door and she opened it, she stared at us for a few minutes and when we finally started to introduce ourselves, she literally screamed and ran up to her room, getting a cross and pointing it towards us from afar, saying stuff in Latin which sounded like cursing signs HAHAHAHAHAHAHA.” I said and started laughing again. Nick continued the rest.
“And the best part is, when we finally got her to calm down and had a chat with her about the girl, she frowned and screamed at us, holding the cross in front of us again and saying ‘I HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH THAT CURSED WRENCH!!!!!!! IF YOU PEOPLE ARE DEBT COLLECTORS OR SOMETHING, THEN I BEG OF YOU TO TAKE HER AWAY!!!!!!’ then running up again to her room. We followed her to her room and saw that she was smirking evilly at her neighbour, who was staring at her with a confused expression and wide eyes!!!!! It was hilarious”
I heard my dad slightly chuckling before going back to talking with his secretary about his meetings. This is going to be really fun. I know very well that she is going to choose to become my girlfriend since I am hot! That’s every girl’s dream. She might have been acting tough and hateful but inside, she was squealing out of happiness and joy. But to tell you the truth, she is such a good actor. A bit too real…………but well! I seriously want her…………..until I get bored of her that is.
Tara’s POV
“So, let me get this straight, if you don’t become either his Girlfriend or Private secretary, then he will report you to the police and either go to jail or scram out of the country?” Blake asked and I nodded. “You are in deep shit, Tara” my best friend, Rose Cooper, just stated the obvious. I invited Blake and Rose here to see if they could come up with a solution.
“ Oh and Blake, forgot to tell you that he also has a video of you cooperating with me and if I don’t do what he wanted, you’re in for trouble as well, HAHA” I laughed as I clicked my fingers together and started dancing. Blake was staring at me with wide eyes and mouth wide open. He suddenly got up and was strolling to the door. “Where are you going?” I asked confused.
He didn’t even bother to turn around to replay and simply said “to a sergeant. I am no longer Blake Johnson and I don’t know you people” he said in a robotic tone. I laughed thinking that it was a joke. “Oh, yea? Seriously Blake, seriously?” I shook my head and laughed slightly. “I am serious, Tara! I told you not to get involved with him and that he is very dangerous but you just had to get me involved in it too! I don’t know you anymore, Tara” I stared at him in disbelief.
“Are you freaking serious! So you are dumping me and going to pretend that our last 15 years never existed just because of something so silly? Did you forget that if you would never have told me about the meeting in the hotel, then I would have never even known such a person existed?” I exclaimed but still not feeling any sadness or pain of losing my one and only boyfriend.
I wonder why? But, this whole time, I’ve always felt that there was something wrong when we got back together. It felt fun and I felt that my life was complete but, there was always this empty place in my heart that he could never fill. Maybe it was because there was no love? Maybe that is why I didn’t feel pain when he just said that? There was no love.
