Danielle's POV
___________

My face hit the street, my nose bleeding, barely able to stand, I cry.
They just laughed.
"Aww are you okay?" He asked sarcastically in a baby voice.
The man that punched me wasn't through with me, he kicked me in the ribs twice. I couldn't breath. I thought I was going to die.

I was gasping for a breath when the man punched me again, this time in the stomach. All the wind was knocked out of me. I was surely going to die. I bled from my nose and mouth.
"Please!" I screamed!
Another man knelt down next to me, put his head close to mine, lifted my head up and slammed it into the street.
I everything went black and I was out cold.

Cameron's POV
____________
My brother died less than 2 months ago, today was his birthday. Honestly I just don't know what to do with myself. It was all my fault of coarse, I was driving. I wasn't paying attention. I blame myself for everything. I can barely live with myself anymore.

My brother was 12. Still a little boy, and I killed him! We would usually go out to the park and throw a football on his birthday, then we would go inside and spend time with the family, but all because of me, it's not the same this year.
I needed to get out of the house, I needed to just clear my head and get away from things. I got in my dad's pick-up truck and took off. I turned the radio on, and I kind of just spaced out . I must've spaced out for a while, actually, because I was in a horrible part of town. How I got here, who knows. I didn't like it here, it just felt strange and dirty.
I was trying to figure out my way out, when I heard some laughing. I also heard a girl scream. I jumped out of the car, and grabbed my dad's baseball bat, just in case there was trouble, I wouldn't be surprised if there was.
I finally got to where the screams were coming, but they had stopped.

I see a girl laying down in the street bleeding from her mouth. She was unconscious. I needed to help her. Whoever did this to her already left, they're lucky they left I would've beat the crap out of them.

I didn't have service to call an ambulance, but I wasn't gonna leave her here all alone. I picked her up and carried her to the back of the truck. She was waking up, barely. I just waited for her to respond to me but she was just crying! I wouldn't blame her though, it looks as though she was beat up bad. She finally calmed down after I told her multiple times, that she's okay.

"No! No!" She screamed, as she hit my truck and kicked her feet around. She was purple, and shivering. I got her a blanket from the passenger side of the truck, and wrapped it around her. She calmed down a little bit.

She looked at me with her bright blue eyes. The same eyes as my brother.
"Your eyes are so beautiful." I
whispered.
"T-t-thanks." She said while shivering.
We sat there in silence for a while.
Can you t-take me home, please? She asked.
" Yeah, let me get you home." I said with a grin.
