They'll be the Death of Me

REALISATION part-1

Y/N's POV: I was sitting in the mansion's  library, reading a book on the Cold War. It was around 1:50 AM. I wanted to read as much about histroy as I could. Just because I'm trapped here, and dont have access to college, doesnt mean I cant study on my own. Since Taehyung and Jungkook bought me here, back to Seoul with them, its probably been almost 4 months now, I spent most of my time in the library of this humongous mansion. I read many books. Some on American history, some on Indian history, some even on Egyptian history. I was flipping through the pages, when i heard someone walk into the library. I didnt look up, but my body stiffened a bit. He was standing behind my chair, and leaned in to give me a peck on the cheek.

TAEHYUNG: " Cold War huh? ( He asked, scanning the book in my hand. I hummed in response, avoiding eye contact with him.) Well, call me before you go to bed. I'll be in my office." He said casually, as today was his turn to keep me afterall, but thankfully he couldn't do anything cuz i was on my periods.

Y/N: " You're not sleeping?" I blurted out mindlessly as he was walking away. He turned back to me, raising his eyebrow in curiosity. I felt almost embarrassed to have asked that question. It could easily be misunderstood, I hope he doesnt think I care about him or anything. I was just hoping that he would be asleep by the time I went to bed, and I wont have to deal with him.

TAEHYUNG: " Is someone concerned about me?(He asked cheekly. I just looked away, and didn't say anything. He walked towards me and held my chin, making me look him in the eye.) You know I can't sleep without you next to me." He said with the utmost sincerity reflecting in his eyes. I simply looked away and let out a sarcastic chuckle.

Y/N: " You sleep without me on the nights that Jungkook takes me." I said bitterly.

TAEHYUNG: "Only because I have to, not because I want to. He is my brother, and we made a deal." I chuckled again.

Y/N: " HALF BROTHER. (Taehuyng rolled his eyes) I don't get it." i mumbled

TAEHYUNG: " What don't you get?"

Y/N: " How could you partner up with him! You hated him, so much, for being your biggest enemy, and worse, for what he did to me. And now, you have let all of it go, for what? Getting revenge on me? Becoming ASIA'S MOST POWERFUL MAFIA?"

TAEHYUNG: " Yes, and Yes. But you missed out the most important reason."

Y/N: " And what is that?"

TAEHYUNG:" FAMILY. We both thought we had no family, till we found out about our mother. Now, all that we have is each other, and no matter how hard you try to make me go against Jungkook, I will never go against him. (my breath hitched when he said this. He caught on to what I was doing. SHIT!) I know all your games Y/N, after all, I love you, I know you better than you know yourself. The only time you surprised me was when you shot me, but I won't let there be a moment of surprise ever again." He said, smirking victoriously, and left.

I clenched my fist in anger. Another failed attempt. Is this really the end for me? Will I really have to spend the rest of my life this way? NO. I won't give up. I will wait, for as long as it takes. And when I see a moment of weakness, I will strike. They say some people bring out the best in us, I suppose Taehyung and Jungkook will do the same for me.

TAEHYUNG'S POV: I was sitting in my office, finishing some paper work. I couldn't help but smile when I thought about my Y/N. She never gave up, did she? Thats what makes her so much fun, you can never be fully certain with her. She always surprises me, even when we were kids. I leaned back on my chair and shut my eyes, letting my memories flood my mind.

FLASHBACK

TAEHYUNG: " Y/N, it's not here. I think we should head back home. It's getting dark, and your mom will yell at you."

Y/N: " NO! I'm not going till I find the puppy. I heard it crying. It has to be here some where, and it needs help." She said and made her way towards a big bush.

TAEHYUNG: " Y/N, please, there is no pup....." before he could finish, Y/N shrieked in joy.

Y/N: "Taehyung! I found it." she said stepping out of the bush, holding a small, black and brown furred puppy in her hands. Taehyung was shocked that she found the puppy. He immediately scanned the puppy and realised it was a female. Y/N didn't know how to identify the gender cuz she was barely 7 years old. Taehyung watched as Y/N sat in the grass and held the puppy gently in her lap. She caressed it with so much love and care, even though she had just found it. In that moment, Taehyung realised that he was in love with Y/N. Everything about her made him love her. Be it her cute laugh, her boundless imagination, her strong will power, her love and affection, or the ease one felt to talk to her. He was madly in love with her, and knew right then, that she was the girl he would make his wife someday.
