C 2

After eating my breakfast, I decided to go near the beach. It looks so peaceful by just looking at the beautiful scenery and, somehow, I felt at ease.

I want to clear my mind from everything so, probably, by staying here will make me relaxed. I sat down by the seashore and let the waves meet my feet.

As time goes by, I can feel the wind blowing stronger making the sand hit my face. Ew! But before I get back to the beach house, I felt the leaves and the sands surrounding me, creating a whirlwind.

In just a blink of an eye, a scene appeared in front of me through the strong and powerful winds. It was me on my seventh grade.

I saw two familiar girls beside the lockers.

"Did you know that her mother was a murderer? Well, I heard it from Keila. Her mother killed her father four years ago. I mean who would do that?! That's insane, Georgia." I heard Lilith, my best friend, said to our friend.

"Scary. I'm now scared of her mother. Aunt Freeda is so kind to me. But, now, I don't think I could ever talk to Aunt and Liberty after hearing that. Liberty might have inherited that from her mother." Georgia replied.

I went to them. "Hi, Georgia! Hi, Lilith!" I greeted them, happily, pretending that I didn't hear anything earlier.

"H-h-hello, Lib-berty" they stammered and started walking away that made my brows furrowed.

"Hey, wait for me!" I shouted.

They stopped. Georgia walked towards me together with Lilith. "We already know the t-truth, Lib. Just please stay a-away from u-us. We are just trying to protect ourselves," she confronted.

I wasn't able to speak right away because someone tapped my shoulder from behind. It was a not-so-close classmate, Blakely, with her friends. The popular girl in our school. She is known to be frank, mean, pretty, and rich, that is why.

"So it's true, huh? That your mother was a murderer? That is why she always have this kind of look. Perhaps, you are a murderer, too?... I was just kidding." Blakely mocked.

A tear escaped from my eyes. Who spread this false information? Why are they judging me based from my family's past?

"That's not true! My mother is not a killer! My father committed a suicide and he was not murdered, Blakely!" I shouted, my heart stung in pain.

"Liar! Your mother was not jailed because she is a lawyer. She fabricated things so she won't get prisoned!" she accused.

People were surrounding us. Anger filled me so I pushed Blakely that made her lie on the floor. My hands flew to my mouth when I saw her head nearly hit the metal bar.

"I-I am so s-s-sorry. Sorry... I am so sorr-".

She cut me off and stood up with a powerful slap. Then, it followed by another slap. "You. Killer!" she shouted at me. "You nearly killed me! No doubts, you are a family of killers!" Blakely shouted and ran away.

Her friends pushed me causing me to fell on the floor. With judgmental look on their faces, my schoolmates around me were throwing hateful words at me.

I looked at my best friends, helplessly, but they just turned their back at me and walked away. I thought we are the best of friends? Why would you turn your back at me? Now that I badly need your help?

The sky rained as I remembered that painful scene. The whirlwind already stopped so the sky cried with me.

What did I do in the past to experience this? Why did I do to be this so unlucky? I closed my eyes and let the rain pour onto my face.
