Happy 12th Birthday, Patience!

The date was May 19th, 2020. Patience Peterson [Pajama Party Miku] was currently at home watching some movie on Netflix. Until she heard a beeping noise coming from her laptop. It was a message from Roberta Padilla [Pajama Party Rin] saying, "Wanna chat, Patience?"

Pajama Party Miku: Do I want to chat? Eh, why not?

She paused the movie she was watching and set up the video chat. Roberta's face was already there.

Pajama Party Rin: Hey, girlfriend!

Pajama Party Miku: Hi, Robbie!

Pajama Party Rin: Robbie? You do know that's a boy name, right?

Pajama Party Miku: What? It's better than calling you Robert, which is also a boy's name.

Pajama Party Rin: That's true. I just wanted to wish you a happy 12th birthday.

Pajama Party Miku: Thanks. You didn't have to, though.

Pajama Party Rin: Oh, but I wanted to. I would be a bad friend if I didn't wish you a happy birthday.

Pajama Party Miku: Where's Patrick?

Pajama Party Rin: Patrick? He's asleep right now. His sleep apnea is causing him trouble last night and he didn't sleep well.

Pajama Party Miku: Ohh, the poor thing.

Pajama Party Rin: I can wake him up if you want me to. Just for a few minutes.

Pajama Party Miku: Nah, don't bother. He needs his sleep.

Pajama Party Rin: If you say so. Are you still coming over to our house for that sleepover this weekend?

Pajama Party Miku: I don't know if I should, Roberta. My parents won't let me leave the house because of...you-know-what.

Pajama Party Rin: Oh, I understand. That's fine! We can always plan a sleepover whenever this pandemic is over.

Pajama Party Miku: Yeah. I can't wait. We can even invite the other Pajama Party modules.

Pajama Party Rin: That could be cool.

Pajama Party Miku: Do you know if your brother has the coronavirus? Because of his sleep apnea thingy, he's at a high risk of getting it.

Pajama Party Rin: My dad took him to the doctor's a few days ago. We're still waiting on the results. To be honest, I don't want him to get the virus. If he does, he might not be able to fight it off and...you know.

Pajama Party Miku: Well, let's hope on those test results to end up negative.

Pajama Party Rin: Ever since this thing started, my parents told Patrick and I to wash our hands regularly and to wear face masks and gloves for when we do go outside. They apparently don't want us to get sick.

Pajama Party Miku: Same with my parents. What do you do to keep yourself occupied during this quarantine thing?

Pajama Party Rin: What else is there to do than taking care of Patrick?

Pajama Party Miku: Oh. Right.

Pajama Party Rin: No, it's okay. I've been watching him since he was first diagnosed with this disorder. What about you?

Pajama Party Miku: I watch movies on Netflix.

Pajama Party Rin: That sounds fun. I sometimes do that, too.

Pajama Party Miku: Most of the movies on Netflix are pretty good.

Pajama Party Rin: Yep. Well, I gotta go. I think Patrick might need me.

Pajama Party Miku: Okay. Thanks for chatting with me.

Pajama Party Rin: Oh, no problem. We should do this again tomorrow. Again, happy birthday Patience.

Pajama Party Miku: Thanks.

She signed and went back to watching her movie.

Pajama Party Miku: I hope Patrick doesn't get the virus. Please, God, don't let my friend die...
