*next morning*
Again another day of waking up to my alarm. I'm so happy that Addison's mum is giving us a lift I couldn't face the bus anymore. I quickly have a shower and I decide to wear my plain black leggings with a grey oversized hoodie. I hear a car arrive at my driveway and see Addi and Vani in the car. I rush downstairs saying goodbye to my parents. I go outside and see the girls.
Sophie: Morning Em
Emma: Morning Mama Soph
Addi: Let's get to school
Avani: Let's go
Sophie: You guys are early
Emma: we have to study
Sophie: I see let's go

As we drive past the bus stop I quickly slump in my seat and make sure no one can see me. Avani realises what I'm doing so she puts her and Addi's bag on top of me. Once we've drove by I see Quinton and Cynthia just talking with all the football mates.
Vani: That was close
Addi: Here, lets go , thanks mum
Emma: Thanks Mama soph
Vani: Thanks Mama Sophie
Sophie: Have a good day
Emma: I'll see you guys at lunch
Vani: Yes stay safe and message us if you need anything
Addi: Yes we'll have our phones on
Emma: Ok I'll keep my head low anyways

As I'm walking to my first period I remember I've got Biology with Quinton. Ugh! I walk into the class and see he's not here yet. I quickly take my seat at the back. When I see him walk in I quickly look out the window. He takes his seat next to me and places his stuff down. Half way through the lesson the teachers says we have to work with the person next to us. Just thanks Mr Dean.
Emma: So how did you-
Quinton: Emma shut up
Emma's Look I'm just trying to-
Quinton: I don't care what you're trying to do but stop
Emma: Oh come on Quinton
Bryce: Oh just leave him alone would you?
Emma: Excuse me but-
Anthony: Shut up no one cares
Josh: Come work with me and Kio man and get away from this thing

Wow just when I thought today would be better I can't even get them to address me with my name. I see Quinton walk off with them and do some work. I'm sat on my own when this girl comes up
??: Hey
Emma: Hey
??: So did you want to work with me?
Emma: Yeah of course I'm Emma
??- Josie
Emma: Well Josie lets do this

Josie was so kind I mean I think I found a new friend she really fun and such an easy person to get on with.

Quinton's POV
While the boys are doing work I look over at Emma sat with some girl laughing. How can she punch my girlfriend and acts likes everything ok. She's just sat the table laughing and joking.
Quinton: How can see be so happy after yesterday
Bryce: I know that was out of order
Josh: She's such a cow
Anthony: Why don't we teach her a lesson
Griffin: What do you mean by that?
Kio: A little violence wouldn't hurt
Quinton: let's do it
I know violence isn't right but she deserves some karma after what happened to Cynthia. I mean I should feel bad but my anger is clouding my judgment and after all these years of friendship she hurt someone I care about. That's not what a true friend would do.

*lunchtime near the back field*
Emma's POV
I'm on my way to meet Addison and Avani for lunch when I see all the football boys looking at he field. I try to walk past when they suddenly all crowd around me. All I know is Bryce is throwing punches at me. My stomach is throbbing when I fall to the floor. All the eyes on me on the ground, all the boys shouting at me. I look out of the corner of my eye and see Quinton. I can't believe after everything this is how it ends. He had to get his mates on me to fight his girlfriend's battles. The next thing I know I see Avani and Addison run up. They shout my name but my head is ringing from when I fell on the floor. They try to push through the crowd when Bryce picks me up by my neck. I can't breathe I'm trying to catch my breath when I see Avani being carried away by Anthony and Jaden carrying Addison. The next thing I knew was someone punched me in the head and I blacked out.

Quinton's POV
Me and Cynthia are just watching the fight when she arrives. I see her and I want to be sick. I hate her guts after everything she did and I'm looking forward to this. She did the exact thing to Cynthia so this is her turn at karma. As I'm watching the fight I see Addison and Avani run trying to push their way through. I can see from their faces they're trying to help her. I don't understand why she's got such good friends honestly she'll probably beat up their boyfriends anyways. I see Emma and she has tears
streaming down her face and she looks at me. She looks like she's in pain but I would of helped her if she hadn't have hurt Cynthia. Once she blacks out we all leave the field quickly. She's lay there in the middle past out with Avani and Addison around her.

*later that day*
Emma's POV
I get home after Addison and Avani walked me home. I realise I need to tell my parents everything. I knock on the door and dad answers.
Dad: Emma?!
Emma: *sobbing* Dad
Dad: Becky get the kettle on
Mum: Yep doing that
Dad: Come sit on the sofa
Mum: Hey Em- oh my gosh sweetie what happened
Emma: I-i-I
Mum: Here drink this
Dad: Tell us everything princess
I ended up telling them the whole story about Cynthia and the fight. I think my dad was angry but didn't want to make me upset. Mum was in shock that Quinton's friends did this. She offered to talk to his mum but I couldn't face the school
Dad: Is there anything you want?
Emma: I wanna move schools
Dad: It's the best
Mum: We need a change
Dad: I'll send you to that school Buxford (I made this up so don't judge😂)
Emma: Ok thank you
Mum: Why didn't you say earlier
Emma: I didn't expect to get beaten up today
Dad: Tomorrow we're going to say goodbye
Emma: Ok dad

Tomorrow is the end of everything I know. Everything will change and I'll lose my bestfriends.
