Chapter 2: When will I see you again?

Butterflies. That's what Peppa felt in her stomach when she thought of her knight in shining armor. She wanted to meet him, she wanted to touch him, she wanted him. Peppa decided to go to into town so she could tell her friend about her dream and her knight.

"Danny!"
"Peppa!"
Danny ran and hugged Peppa tightly. "I missed you so much! It's been years!" Peppa let go of him. "I've missed you too, I have so much to tell you." They started to walk around and greeted everyone as they passed.
"What were you going to tell me?"
"Right! I had this wonderful dream about a guy."
"A guy?"
"Yes! He was tall and handsome and...and green!"
"Green?" Danny tried not to shout, but there was a fire in his eyes; that fire was the raging jealousy he felt towards Peppa's mysterious dream man. "I wish I could see him again, I never caught his.." Peppa was about to finish her sentence when she bumped into someone and was knocked over.

"Hey! Watch where you're..." Peppa trailed off as she looked at who had knocked her over. He was green, tall, and handsome beyond belief. He had a deep Scottish accent. "Ai, sorry for knocking ya over lady." She was at a lost for words but she managed to stammer out "W-What's your n-name?"
"Shrek."
"I'm P-Peppa!"
"Here's my number, I'll take you out for coffee sometime; to make up for bumping into ya."

They exchanged numbers and left. She met him, she touched him, she realized that she not only wanted him......she needed him.
