── 2 : math class

Lucy's P.O.V

"Care to tell me why you were out in the hall way shirtless?" i raised an eyebrow while looking at gray. We're currently walking down the halls making our way to the math class, after running for a bit we decided to slow down and catch our breath.

"err...it's a weird story..." he laughed while he scratched the back of his head in embarrassment. i decided to ignore it since we had already made our way to the front door of the class. Gray swung the door open, not caring of the looks he received from the other students as he took his seat by a guy with piercings. Thankfully, the teacher wasn't in the classroom so i looked around searching for an empty seat. I spotted a seat between a pink haired guy and a blonde one. i made my way over to them and put my bag to the side of my seat pulling out my notebook and a pencil. As i was doing so, i felt the piercing stare of the blonde boy.

"so, are you gonna keep staring at me or do you want something?" I asked him, clearly annoyed.

"Eh? There's no need to be rude blondie," He smirked, i so wanted to punch him in the face.

"Fyi you're blonde too lightbulb, and my names Lucy not blondie," I shot him an irritated smile. He opened his mouth to retort something back but before he could say anything someone beat him to it.

"Leave her alone sting," I turned around to see gray looking at sting with an annoyed face.

"who's this stripper?" Looking to my right was that boy with the pink hair, he looked at me with curiosity.

"Err...my names lucy, lucy heartfilia, nice to meet you..."

"Natsu, Natsu Dragneel! nice to meet you Luigi!" He gave me a toothy grin holding up a peace sign.

"It's lucy! get it right you burnt cotton candy!" i glared at him. Seriously, what's with people not getting my name right, it's not that hard to pronounce and memorize right?

"Oí! You take that back luigi!" Natsu yelled as he brought up his chair closer to my desk and proceed to yank me by the collar of my shirt bringing out faces close.

"and why should i?" I scoffed as i glared right into his onyx eyes, him glaring back at me, both of us not breaking away from the glaring contest.

"are you guys about to kiss right no-" before the guy with a lot of piercings could continue his sentence i threw him one of my pencils right at his face.

"shut it metal face!"

"The hell did you just call me bunny?!"

"Bunny? The hell? It's lucy! why can't any of you apart from gray get my name right!" I yelled, metal face looked like he was about to blow a steam but before he could, the teacher had walked in. Natsu letting go of my shirt and went back to his seat while metal face sat down and glared at me before looking at the teacher who had cleared his throat to try and get our attention.

"Good morning everyone, the name is Gildarts and i'll be your math teacher till the end of the year. For now, i'll give you guys 10 minutes for introductions before class starts," He stated as he went around his desk and sat on a chair before pulling out a magazine and burying his whole face in it.

"yo bunny," I turned around to come face to face with metal face, he had a shitty grin on his face as he looked at me up and down. I raised a questionable eyebrow at this

"it's lucy, do you need something or are you just going to keep looking at me like some type of creep?"

"creep? i just came here to introduce myself bunny,"

"well...?"

"the names Gajeel, Gajeel Redfox," He offered me his hand as a sign of a handshake, still smirking

"Nice to meet you shit face, my names Lucy, Lucy Heartfilia, not bunny, so get it right next time kay?" I hummed, grabbing his hand in the process. As my hand made contact with his, he pulled me in, i stumbled a bit grabbing his shoulder while he held me by the waist with his free hand, the other still holding onto to my hand. I looked up and we both made eye contact, i squinted my eyes trying to see what exactly he was trying to do but before i could do or say anything i was yanked out of gajeel's embrace.

"quit touching her gajeel, you'll make her uncomfortable," I stared into the person who had removed me out of gajeel's hold, which so happens to be gray.

"yea yea, whatever," He scoffed as he went back to his seat chatting with Sting and Natsu.

"Thanks stripper," I grinned, he flushed a shade of pink before looking away, scratching his cheek.

"not you too..." He groaned as i let out a heartfelt laugh

"well aren't you adorable?" i grinned while pinching his cheeks with both of my hands, his ears and cheeks flushing a light shade of pink, not used to the touch.

"so soft.." i mumbled, i wasn't expecting his cheeks to be that soft and i think that started my new obsession with squishing his cheeks. I had mumbled that lowly but he still managed to hear me and his cheek flushed a darker shade putting a tomato to shame. I giggle softly at his face.

"are you guys done flirting?" i heard a voice call out. i peeked over gray's shoulder seeing sting impatiently tapping his foot with his arms crossed over his chest while looking at us. I shrugged my shoulders as i let go of grays cheeks much to his dismay, and walked over to my seat sitting down while waiting for the last remaining minutes of introductions to pass by. I hands against the desk before laying my head on my hands using them as a sort of pillow/headrest.

"This is gonna be a long day," I thought to myself as i closed my eyes, letting them rest for a bit. unbeknownst to me, a pair of blue eye were staring at me with a look of interest.
