"C'mon Catra, you have to wake up now," Adora called from the kitchen. "Ugh, just a little longer," Catra said sleepily.
"Catra , you literally said that 2 hours ago, get up now," said Adora in a stern voice. Melog growled from next to Catra. Adora walked over to where Catra is sleeping. Adora pecked her on the forehead, Catra's eyes fluttered open.
"Fine," she growled. She groggily got up and stretched. "I'm hungry, lets make something," Catra said. "What do you even want?", Adora asked.
"Those flat disks that taste good," Catra responded, forgetting the word.
Adora laughed, "You mean pancakes?" "Yeah, yeah, those things. They taste good," Catra said.
Adora retrieved flour, sugar, milk and butter. "Hey Catra, can you get those eggs for me?", Adora asked. "Yeah, sure," Catra responded.
Catra opened the fridge and got the carton of eggs. "Hey Adora, catch!", Catra warned. She threw an egg towards Adora. "What did you say?", Adora asked, not hearing her. Adora heared a "spalt" and turned to face Catra. "What was that!?", she exclaimed.
Adora looked down and saw an egg on the floor. Catra laughed, "I said watch out." Adora snatched the carton of eggs from Catra and took one. Adora got an idea and laughed under her breath.
"Hey, what are you laughing?", Catra asked. Adora cracked the egg into the mixture and then quickly threw the shell at Catra, "Hey Catra, catch!"
Catra shrieked, "What was that for!?" "That was for dropping an egg on the ground, dummy," Adora responded. Adora hadn't yet noticed that the pancakes have overcooked and were turning black. Catra sniffed, "What's that smell?"
Adora turned back and saw her pancakes burning. She panicked and grabbed it with her hands, "OW," she exclaimed. She tossed the onto a plate.
"Are you okay?", Catra asked, panicked. Adora shook her hand in pain, "Yeah, I'm okay."
Catra thwacked her with her tail, "You idiot," she said. Catra grabbed one of the pancakes and took a bite, it was burnt and crunchy. She spat it out, "You are bad at acting and cooking," Catra said.
Adora scraped off the plate and put it in the sink. "It's your turn to do the dishes." "No, it's not, it's yours!", Catra hissed.
Adora took a spray bottle and pointed it at Catra, "Do the dishes, or else..," Adora commanded. Catra fluffed up in anger, "Fine," she growled. "You get to do it twice next time.."
"Okay, okay," Adora said. Catra dug into a cabinet and grabbed a pair of long, white gloves. She put them on so she was to not get wet. She turned on the water and shuddered, it was very cold. She turned the knob the hot and started to do the dishes.
Catra turned her head and watched Adora try and fail to do a push-up. Catra snorted, "Adora, what are you doing?" "I'm trying to do my workout over here," she called back at her from the living room.
"Well, it looks like you're failing." Catra laughed.
She suddenly got a call from Glimmer on her tracker pad that Bow gave her. "Hurry to the dining room, there is an intruder in the palace!", Glimmer said quickly than hung up. Adora quickly grabbed a hair tie and put her hair in a ponytail. She grabbed Catra by her wrist and started to drag her to the main palace dining room.
Both of them burst through the door, "Where is the intruder?", Catra hissed. "Uh.. I've got some good news..", Glimmer said. "There was never an intruder, hehe..", she told them.
"I just miss hanging out with you guys," she admitted. "Awhh, we would've just came to hang out if you asked us," Adora said.
"How about we got back to our apartment and we can do something there," Catra suggested. Glimmer nodded as if to say she liked the idea and teleported them back to Adora and Catra's apartment, which was a mess by the way.
"We could watch something," Glimmer suggested. Catra grabbed the remote and flicked it on to something that looked mildly interesting.

"It's probably time I leave, it's getting dark," Glimmer said. Catra and Adora nodded, "Bye, Glimmer ," they said. Glimmer teleported out.
"Well now that we are already watching shows, want to watch a movie on RuneFlix?", Catra asked. "Sure," Adora responded. Melog walked into the room they were in and sat on Catra's lap. Adora picked the only thing that looked interesting to her which was a sappy rom-com. Catra argued that a horror film would be better to watch but she eventually lost that argument.
"I want to live like that, with you in the big city. Just us against the world," said Catra, resting her head on Adora's shoulder. "Yeah..", Adora responded sleepily. She ran her fingers through Catra's short hair. Catra purred into Adora's neck, giving her shivers. Adora went back to focusing on the movie, Catra was silent.
Adora looked next to her and saw Catra sleeping. Adora got up and bent down and gave Catra a quick kiss on the cheek.
