I had just got back from hope peak, hopes peak is a school for gifted student who are best at one subject but they have to be the best at it in the whole entire world, people will try to get into hopes peak by money but there just put into the reserve course, the ultimate's are the people with talents there given this name to stick out into society I personally think I don't deserve to be called an ultimate and be at that school with people filled with hope unlike worthless trash like me, me? Oh I'm nagito komaeda but I've always wanted to become a stepping stone for hope not that it would bring much despair but even if it brings the smallest amount despair for the ultimate's to overcome I'll gladly take my life but that's almost impossible it's all because of my luck, well I'm the ultimate lucky student but honestly my talent sucks I mean it's all because of my luck cycle because of that my parents died in a plane crash and just had to survive and live with all of that grief through my life I even have cancer but all because of my talent my body wont fail me no matter how much I try I even played Russian roulette by myself with a fully loaded gun and the gun got jammed my luck cycle is extreme good luck and extreme bad luck but the bad luck never happens to me it happened to people I love but if my bad luck is being nice in some sort of way it will take a life of an small animal or something I'm really happy about but it's never nice, but the people who are even more worthless than me are kids in the reserve course they don't even deserve to be on the same campus as the great ultimate's there just essential bits of hope that bring nothing to this world they even try to hang out with the fragments of hope and it's disgusting they gross out the ultimate's and you can see it on their faces all the time however it's a guilty face and I don't understand it but there are some people who understand it like togami he's the ultimate heir of the togami family he's skinny but will not hesitate to reject people he stays around toko and she's a bit crazy when she sneezes her tounge goes crazy and she calls togami "master" he always looks so annoyed and bonks her on the head, she's the ultimate writing prodigy but it would be better if she was ultimate phsyco path and kept in a restraining place there both from the 75th class they also have another student called makato who is another ultimate lucky student we get along but the people who have the same talents are placed into a classroom to interact with each other

I only know that there are two other ultimate detectives kyoko kirigiri and shuichi saihara there both the ultimate detectives kyoko has more experience in mysteries of robberies or kidnap cases and is very confident in what she does her dad is also the principal but that doesn't change anything for her

then there shuichi the other ultimate detective he's always wearing a hat and he came across a murder case once and solved it in two days then he was places into this school he doesn't interact with a lot of people

I know he's friends with kaito the ultimate astronaut and maki the ultimate child carer but he's been seen not wearing his hat rarely he doesn't have it on that often when he's around kaedae the ultimate pianist the other person he's seen without a hat with is kokichi

He's ultimate supreme leader kokichi's my friend however he does lie a lot so he's kinda like the ultimate liar but when he's seen with shuichi without his hat saihara is either chasing him or kokichi has his hat on his head and is just staring into shuichis eyes you don't see it often but shuichis face is usually super red when that happens

But back to the reserve course students no ultimate ever want to hang out with them although I have seen chiaki the ultimate gamer hanging out with a reserve course student I believe his name was hajime hinata but his eyes were full of so much hope

I have been out of control before I was going to blow up half of the reserve course students campus at night because I wasn't horrible enough to do that, but my plan was to be there when the bomb was set of but it got switched out with another girls bag and turned out she pressed it during school hours which miss chisaki had reported and it was the boys part of the campus that had been blown up so we boys had to share our dorms with the reserve course students just the thought of that disgusted me and incontinently I was picked to have one of them staying in my dorm but it didn't make sense because I had already had my bad part of my cycle of luck maybe today was going to be a horrible day or I would have bad luck for the rest of my days then I could finally kill mysel-
