If there was one thing that Jimin was proud about himself, it would be perseverance.

He didn't build his company overnight, his journey to success -eventhough it was eventually paid off, -was not easy, the struggle in building his capital and company was terribly tough and at times, -nerve wrecking.
Late night stays in the office, overdue loans from the bank that forced him to open yet another revolving credit account, overlapping debts just to survive, -it was difficult decision, but he had no choice at the time.
There were moments when he felt like running away from all the problems in his life and business back then.

But in the end, it was probably true what they said, what didn't kill him actually made him stronger.

Along with those years of blood, sweat and tears, he watched himself growing as the mature man he was now, owning his mistakes and learned from them, to practice self control and preservation in business and relationship alike.

His business colleagues respected him for his instinct and decision making, while women adored him for his physical qualities and his wealth.

In the end, it all came down to money.

Money was correlated with power.
Money was honey that attracted those bees.
And as much as he was good in reading people, but he had to admit that sometimes common sense didn't work when he craved the pleasure.
He was a man with healthy sex appetite, and it was easy to get carried away, especially when desire took over his logic.
Therefore, he always reminded himself, it was imperative to have a good self control to protect him from the ruse that some women used to trap him into commitment or marriage.

Sounded so cliche, he didn't believe it at first.
But then one woman lied to him by telling him that she was pregnant with his child (there was 1% of chance condom might break, she said) and threatened to sue him if he didn't marry her. He remembered the fights, forced visits to the ob-gyn, awkward undesired meeting with her family, and at last, her consent to the parental DNA testing that saved him in the end.
All of that taught him a great lesson, -never, ever, ... let his guard down.

It was one of the reasons he always refrained to bring woman to his apartment.
He didn't want them to think that he was ready for serious relationship.
Sure, he didn't mind showering them with gift here and there, paying for hotel was no problem, even flights for holiday abroad, but nothing further than that.
