A new chapter has arrived!

I'm sorry this took so long to write. I was a little busy with my first story, and trying to gather some "research" for a "new project" that I'm working on (lol), so I completely failed to write a new one for this. Well, now I have the time to do it lol. I also wrote out the plots that I wanted to do for this story, so I won't go out of track. There maybe a few side stories here and there but they would mostly relate to the main topic of the story.

A little recap of last chapter if you happened to forget: Godt and Bas have finally confirmed their pair and have told the others. Now it has come to meet with Bas' parents! What could be in store?

On with the story!

------------------------------------------------------------

".... w-what?" Godt asked stuttering. He was happy that his gut was true in telling him that Bas was his fated omega, but he did not expect to meet his omega's parents right away. He wanted to get some facts straight before actually going to their parents.

"We need to talk to each other's parents..." Bas repeated. He was also in a state of shock and nervousness. He had just found out in one day that his fated alpha had been so close to him this entire time, he just had his first kiss, made out with his alpha, and now they have to talk to each other's parents?! It was too much for the omega to take.

"W-why? I mean I know that confirming our fate is good and all but why so sudden to go to the in-laws?" Godt asked quickly, spewing words out of his mouth unconsciously.

"I'm sorry to break this to you Nong Godt but it's tradition in our family. Once both of have confirmed your fate, it is required to present yourself to both your parents. Both P'Mew and I did it when we confirmed it..." Gulf said motioning to his own alpha. He remembered how both him and Mew faced their parents, begging for their blessing, only to be laughed at saying that their relationship has been blessed ever since they told them about it. The moment that both Mew's parents first laid their eyes on Gulf, and Gulf's parents first laid their eyes on Mew, they automatically knew that they were a fated pair. They just worked out a few details and all was good.

"Is that for every fated pair? Or is it just in your family?" Godt asked curious. He had never heard of that tradition in any other family before. This was the first time that he had heard of it.

"I wouldn't know about the others, but Saint and P'Kim have done it with their pairs." Gulf said motioning to the two. Godt focused his attention to Bas' cousins, asking if it was true. Saint and Kimmon, along with Zee and Copter, nodded to the piece of information. Godt looked towards Tae and Tee, to which the pair had shook their heads no, making Godt sigh.

"I guess it's just in your family..." Godt sighed. He didn't know how to face Bas' parents as well as his. Although, he really did not expect to meet his fated omega in the university, much less a freshman.

"Don't worry P'Godt. I don't think we need to meet with them TODAY. Seeing as we only meet and confirmed it today, it'll be too soon to meet with them. We could probably tell them first and settle on a date. RIght P'Gulf?" Bas said trying to calm his alpha down. He had sensed Godt's frustrations and fear, and wanted to help him as much as possible.

Gulf nodded. He knew that they didn't need to meet with their parents right away. The meeting was for formality sake, and knowing that by forcefully separating a fated pair, it would cause great pain to both.

"Okay, since it's only the first day, and I believe that all of us have classes this week, why don't you and Nong Bas both contact your parents, tell them of what happened today, and settle on a date where they can meet. Is that okay?" Mew said trying to calm the crowd. Both Bas and Godt nodded in agreement. Godt whipped out his phone to call his parents, anxious of what their reaction will be.
