Thirty But Seventeen

La Campanella, The little bell

"What are you drawing uncle?"
"Are you drawing a food?"
Paul smirked and replied "No, It's a person."
"Who?"
Paul said "I don't really know her that well, But she triggers my curiosity everytime I see her"
"Why are you drawing her if you don't really know her?"
Paul then said "Because from now on I want to get to know her. After I'm done with this I'm going to give it to her and ask her to be friends."
"Do you know her name?".....(Sound of a violin began to play)

"What is the name of this applicant?"
"Her name is Jade."
"What?"
"Jade Hernandez"

The Day After

"Sunny!! Park Sunny!!!"
"Gosh it's been so long"
"I know!"
"Have you been well? It's so nice to see you!"
"Me too!"

Paul was riding his bike and saw Jade looking at the moon. He looked at her uniform and saw her name.

"Ahh! So that's her name Sunny, Her name was Sunny."

A persons life doesn't alway require a special or dramatic event for it to suddenly change. Sometimes very small and trivial things shake our lives with a force that is stronger than we think. Just like how a small misunderstanding I had when I was seventeen ended up shaking both her and my life.

13 years ago

Jade is hopping while humming and almost fell in the sewer but Sunny caught her.

Jade"Ahh! Phew! H..hi Sunny"
Sunny"What's wrong with you? Didn't I tell you not to think about music while walking. Didn't you know that you accidentally took my gym clothes again?"
"I'm sorry" Jade replied while laughing
"I asked my aunt to wash it and brought it with me." Jade also replied
Then she looked at her bag but found his puppy inside "Well atleast I tought I brought it. But I guess I was wrong. I don't know what to say." Jade said then Sunny put her arm around jade and replied "Jade you better not let anyone know that your'e this clumsy. If people found out how clumsy you are the music college in Germany will cancel your acceptance.(Sunny sighed and continued)We accepted you becuase we tought you were a genius,but your'e just the opposite. That's probably what theyr'e gonna say."
"Ahh! Your right I should keep it discreet." Jade replied
"Hey! Should I just tell them how clumsy you are then you can stay here instead of having to drop out of school!"
Sunny said
"Ahh! But can you say that in German?" Jade replied
Sunny "Well,No, I can't."

Both were giggling and laughing.
But suddenly a boy with flowers on his hands approached Jade and said

"I love you, let's get married Jade."
Both were shocked then Sunny replied

"What do you think your doing Steve?"
"I cant let you go to Germany all by yourself. I'll go with you and support you there. You still have 2 months before you leave. I'll master German until then....Ahh!!!" A teacher came and grab Steve's ear while saying
"Go master your English first! How can you get four points on your test!? A German wouldv'e even got a higher points than you! Follow me!!"

The school ended and Jade was at the bus that Paul is taking a girl came to Paul to ask a question and he was shocked cause the girl was Jade he was completely frozen Jade started to ask a question but Paul is still frozen Jade then said

"You...don't know?"
Paul then stood up and shouted "No!!I know!!!"
Both were frozen and don't know what to say. Paul finally answered her clearly and Jade thank him and sat down. Paul is still shocked and keeps looking at Jade while thinking...

"Should I go talk to her and give her this painting? Right! This is the perfect chance." Paul tried to stand up but he kept sitting down he tried many times but failed. They finally arrived at her stop. It was his last chance so he finally approach her and said...

"Don't stop here and just go to the next station."
Jade then stood up looking confused and Paul doesn't know what to say next. Then when Paul was finally about give her the painting her friend came and Paul panicked so he got off the bus. Jade was totally confused at Paul's behavior and tried to stop him but he ran off after the incident Paul said to himself...
"Ahh!!! Paul you idiot!!!"
Then it started to rain hard and Paul tried to go to the next station to see Jade but a truck loaded with tires drove with full speed even tough it's raining hard a tire fell and hit the front window of a car then it hit another car and another car until it hit the car infront of the bus that Jade was riding the driver tried his best to avoid the accident but it eventually hit a car and crashed. Sunny flew and Jade hit her head on the ground then the bus stopped infront of Paul. Victims were taken at the hospital, Paul is still walking in the rain while crying then he said...

"Because of me."

13  Years Later

Jade is still in a coma until she finally woke up even tough she can't move she remembered everything including the accident.

"Where am I? Right I got into an accident yesterday. My unlce and aunt must be in such a shock. Huh! I wonder if Sunny is okay. What? I can't move. Did I hurt my legs? My hand? I can't hurt my hand! What?! My voice! I can't speak!"

The doctor then came with the nurses they were feeling happy and relieved to see that she's finally awake.Then Jade looked in the mirror beside her and said....
"Who? Over there...the person who is staring at me? Who is that lady?"

The nurses explained the situation to her. Jade kept thinking...
"Then what about my 18 year oldself, what about my days as a 20 years old, Why did I have to suddenly turn into an adult, I don't like this, I don't wanna be 30." Then she started to cry.
