Hako gasped aloud and gripped his arm tightly, eyes darting to the inflamed tattoo there. Upon further inspection, the first ring on his arm was glowing bright blue, the skin around it sizzling with white steam. His cup had clattered to the floor, the tea spilled haphazardly in every direction. With wide eyes he slowly moved his head, inch by inch, to look at Nami in the face. Her hands were white knuckled on the teapot she held, hair pulled into a loose ponytail at the nape of her neck. Her mouth was open in shock as she looked at the glowing strip of flesh, scared by the sudden event.

"H-Hako." she whispered, holding the pot closer to her bosom, gaze darting back to his when she couldn't bare the sight anymore. Her husband hardly ever looked scared, and the expression on his face felt like a punch to the gut when she looked at him. She couldn't move fast enough when he shot up quickly, eyes wide in haste. He looked at his arm again like he couldn't believe it, and cursed loudly before running to their room, throwing open the door.

He strode inside, kneeling at the chest of drawers next to their bed, pulling out the large drawer containing his battle armor, which consisted of light arm and shoulder guards, along with an entire bodice piece, that had protected him from numerous kunai attacks. He was sliding the forearm guard on when Nami cautiously entered the room, grabbing the other one. "Hako what's going on?" she asked nervously, securing the piece on his strong body with buckles and straps.

He said nothing, bending down to pull on his shoes with practiced ease. He then grabbed his body armor and pulled it on, turning around for Nami to pull it tight, like she had before when he was sent on missions. She did, tightening the leather strings over and under, over and under, like it was second nature to her. Her adept fingers trembled at his silence, eyes looking at his steaming tattoo, which gave off a horrible chakra. She asked again, "Hako...?"

The man turned, grabbing her head in his hands before kissing her hair silently. He stood their for a moment before saying in a monotone voice, "It's Jako. The seal on my arm lets me know when his chakra is out of control." Taking a step back he shook her firmly. "No tears dear Nami. Find Katagiri, because knowing him, he'll run after me. Please find him before he gets any stupid ideas." the oldest Tatsumaru begged, before biting his lip. He turned and pulled on his shirt, running to the door of their room.

Nami shook before whipping around asking hysterically, "What are you going to do? Jako is strong, that's why he's the Takikage right? You're not going to hurt him will you?" She was worried about both of their health, but most of all she did not want the father of her children throwing himself into battle.

He signed quickly before crouching, a dark circle spreading on to the hardwood beneath him. It pulsed for a second before he looked up, locking eyes with her. "Don't worry about me. Please. Find Katagiri." then he was gone with a blink of an eye.

Izumi cursed, shoving bystanders out of her way with the hilt of her short bladed katana. It wasn't her ideal weapon, but considering the previous events she was grateful that she had a steel tipped something in her hand. Jumping to a rooftop, she focused on the chakra coursing throughout the city. It wasn't hard to miss, and it sent a chill down her spine. She saw a flash of white and darted, crashing into the pavement with the body. They rolled and she came out on top, blade to the man's throat. It wasn't Jako and she sighed, relaxing against her nephew: Katagiri.

"Boy, last time I checked, you're not supposed to be roaming the village by yourself." she got up and pulled him with her, dusting her shoulders off before flicking him in the nose. "Go home. Stay with your mother." Izu ordered, sheathing her sword before pointing. "Go. Now."

Katagiri was shocked that his aunt had tackled him to the ground, but considering his life, it wasn't the weirdest thing that had happened to him. He frowned at the woman, who was decked out in her old ANBU gear, wondering why she was running the streets like a madman. "Dad trusts Mako. Im here with her." When Izumi told him to leave he stood up with her and opened his mouth before closing it. Something was wrong here, he was sure of it.
