Harper's POV
"Caroline I need to take a few days off. The girls have become sick again." I said to my amazing assistant. "If any of the clients need to talk to me just have them email or call me. I'm going to take some work home for the mean tie."
"Okay, girly. Do you need me to bring work to your house every other day." Caroline asked me as I walked out of my office.
"That would be amazing if you could", I yelled from the elevator.
The girls have been getting sick on and off once I put them into a daycare to help with becoming social before kindergarten. I don't want them to end up like my sister and I.I know what you're about to say. How could a girl that looks this skinny could have ever had twins. Well i guess being from a family full of twins has its perks. Before I had left my hometown I used to be married. Yes, I know it sounds made up but I really was. In fact he is the CEO of William Enterprise. Yes I'm talking about Tyler Williams. Before you say anything about who cheated, It was him. He cheated on me with my own sister.
As to this day I don't really speak to her or my family. I do, however, miss Tyler's family. They had taken me in as if I was one of them. The only one I speak to in his family is his sister Caroline. It's still kind of weird. She nor I have seen or spoken to them. After she heard what her brother did she set out to find me and help in any way I needed. But this is all the past and right
Once getting the girls from the daycare, I rushed home so that I could get them some meds to help with throwing and their fever. After struggling for what seemed like hours I got them into light pj's and put them to sleep.
I walked down stairs to get me something to eat before I start on my normal work that should have been done yesterday. As I got my favorite snack, I heard a knock on the door. Not thinking to look in the peephole of my door, I opened the door to see someone I never thought I would see again.
"Long time no see Mrs. Williams"
My heart dropped.
