Everyone stiffened in their seat, I could feel eyes on me, coming from Zack. Yes, my ex. He kept staring at me I'm sure he knew about this.
"Welcome Damon." It's good to finally have you in our midst. So, what do we owe the best skilled con-artist.. "oh come on with your jokes AMY, Damon trails on sounding not so italian like he was. He spoke fluently making me doubt if he is even italian.
"Am I the only one lost here?" I finally decide to speak up while everyone places their attention on me. Damon sees me and waves his hand. Moron! I stole from you.
"What is it?" AMY questions
"Isn't this man here I gesture towards Damon, my last assignment?" Damon laughs from his belly making me feel disgusted.
"It was a test J." And you did excellently well that's why you were credited with two million dollars. Damon here is just like us. He's one of the best con nation wide and for some reasons, he finally decides to join us after all pleads. In fact, he works alone but now he has a good catch. "With that, I fall back to my seat without realizing I was even standing before."
"Damon walks around the table to the empty chair beside me and takes a seat next to me."

Damon rolls the chair for himself and takes his seat.
"Hi." I didn't know you worked here, what a coincidence, he says while shaking his head and I could see the side of his lips curl up." Liar
"Don't act like you didn't know I worked here. In fact you knew everything. That's why you didn't even bother to block your stolen card!
"He smiles."
Wait. I pause for a second have you been following me?! I question remembering that I had noticed someone on the plane with me he just seemed so suspicious with his weird glasses, mask, and face cap looking like he had caught some infectious disease.
"Actually, for quite a while now." He responds meekly. "How long?! Wait, oh no! I close my eyes in shame he must have witnessed my moment with the bellhop.
"Son of a bitch!"
"Focus!" AMY shouts slamming her hands on the desk as she seeks my attention. "I'm s-sorry." I mutter
"I have so many questions for this fool."
"Finally."our meeting comes to an end and it appears this time we're all going for this because this it's a huge one.
Stepping out of the office on my way out;
"Jasmine" the familiar voice calls out. I turn to see Zack.
"What?!"
"Can we talk for a second?" He asks. His face looking not as bright as it used to be with noticeable eyebags beneath his eyes. "No, we can't." I reply trying to get away from him. He drags me back
"What do you want?! Why can't you just let me be? I question. Leave my life alone you fucking prick!
"Damon pops out of no where, walking towards Zack with an unknown expression on his face. You heard the woman, leave her alone." Zack fists are noticeable but it seemed like he was trying so hard to not react and that's unusual of him. He releases me from him grip and I make my way towards the elevator, the door is about to close when someone's hand stops them. "Damon."
"What do you want from me?! My tone full of anger. He makes his way in making it just the two of us in the darned elevator. He flashes his smile with those magnificent dimples
"Come on, baby girl don't get angry. How about you and I grab lunch?
"No. And what is wrong with you?! I wouldn't dare trust you for all I know, this could be another lame trick of yours.
"Come on, he leans further tucking a strand of my that sure wasn't visible before to the back of my hair. " I'll explain everything you need to know it's just a friendly lunch besides we need to get on the right foot to enable the success of our plans."
"Dammit. He was right I wouldn't want to step in the same pants with AMY. Fine! I mutter in surrender.
"His smirk was visible and annoying making me deprive him. 'But' i continue speaking making him turn back to me arching his eyebrows.
"I'll only give you ten minutes. I have things to do.
"Things like having bubble baths you mean." He chuckles
"Fuck! You really need to stop stalking me."
