Mabel's journey pt 2

Mabel was sitting on the edge of her bed "I need to find away to get ahold of dipper or somone in gravity falls I'll walk there if I have to..."

Aunt Kate "hey Mabel can you come here please I have something for you"

Mabel "coming" she said quietly she walks down stairs and sees her aunt with a brand new bike

Aunt Kate "this is for you Mabel I know its not a car but its beats walking"

Mabel gives a slight smile "thanks aunt Kate" she takes the bike

Aunt Kate "go explore a little who knows what you will find" she smiled at Mabel

Mabel walks out the front door and gets on the bike and rides it down the street.

Aunt Kate "I hope she becomes happier soon" she walks back into the house

30 minutes later

Mabel comes to a bike trail looks left and right "what way should I go?" Then she noticed a 3rd path going straight and up looks like it hasn't been used in awhile. She decided to go up.

15 minutes later
Mabel "it feels like I've been riding my bike for ever"
5 minutes later she comes to a flat area and walks a few feet and saw an amazing view! Forest for miles with a river and a waterfall in the distance. "Reminds me of gravity falls" she said out loud

Stranger "beautiful isn't it?"

Mabel jumped "you scared me, but it is beautiful"

Stranger "please forgive me I didn't mean to scare you, you said gravity falls? Os that where ur from?"

Mabel "it's a long story but I guess you can say that but I'm really from California"

The stranger "my name is josh"

Mabel "nice to meet you josh, I'm Mabel"

Josh "what brings you here?"

Mabel "to this state or this spot?

Josh "both I guess"

Mabel "I followed the bike path up the hill instead of going left or right, and I dont wanna talk about it"

Josh "I respect that, I come up here to think and clear my head"

Mabel "it's a great spot"

Some hours pass by

Josh looks at his phone "it was good talking to you I gotta get going I'm hungry"

Mabel "did you walk up here?"

Josh "nope I rode my dirt bike" he pulls keys out of his pocket and walks to a big Bush and pulls out his dirt bike he starts it up waves good bye and pulls a wheelie.

Mabel "time to get back to aunt Kate I cant plan on an empty stomach"

Mabel makes it home in time for dinner

Aunt Kate "nice to see you how was the bike ride?" She asked curiously

Mabel "it kinda helped clear my head" she ate fast and ran upstairs she shuts the door and pulls out her diary and starts writing in it.

The next day

Mabel wakes up and lays in bed thinking... (who can I get ahold of to help me get back to gravity falls, who can I... PACIFICA! She is always on social media I'm sure I can find a way to reach out to her) mabel sits up in bed grabs her diary and starts jotting down her plan.

Later that day
Mabel grabs her bike and rides to the spot she met josh

A while later Mabel is sitting down looking over the forest planning her next move "I cant do this alone" she said out loud

Josh "cant do what alone?"

Mabel jumped "you scared me"

Josh "I'm sorry"

Mabel "you asked why I'm here right? Well it's a long story" she starts explaining it to josh

Josh listen to everything she says

Some time went by

Josh "how could your parents do that to you guys? That is fucking bullshit!"

Mabel "I know right? I know we just met but can you help me?"

Josh "how can I say no? You need your brother and friends in gravity falls was it?"

Mabel "yes gravity falls" she smiled for the 1st time in a long time "meet me here tomorrow and let me know if you find Pacifica northwest on social media, I cant do it or I'll draw attention to my self"

Josh "of course! And my lips are sealed I'll see you about the same time"
