"Deku..but w-why?" Ochaco mumbled, refusing to look the boy in the eyes. Her eyes drifted down to the multiple scars that outlined his arms and hands. "Why? Why when you had everything going great for you? You just threw your dream away like that?" Ochaco said, her voice cracking.

Deku's face fell as he watched the girl break down in front of him. It seemed like she'd been holding all of this in for sometime now. "Uraraka, don't be so hard-"

Deku was cut off by Uraraka rushing forward and hugging him tightly, burying her head into his shoulder. "I don't want to talk about this anymore. I'm just glad you're here."

"With me."

Deku closed his eyes, as if he didn't, he knew he would start crying. "I missed you so much..." She cried, clinging on to him, her fingers running over the smooth skin of his exposed back.

Deku nodded, letting his arms instinctively fall around her waist. "I missed you too Uraraka."

The pair sat like that for a while, clinging onto each other desperately, basking in each other's presence for the first time in what felt like forever. Deku looked down for a moment, a familiar blue fabric catching his eye. "Is this mine..?" He asked, blushing slightly. Ochaco let go, fidgeting with the strings of his jacket nervously. "Y-Yeah...I took it from your room when you were..you know.." Deku just nodded, smiling a bit.

"It looks better on you." Deku said, looking her up and down subconsciously. Ochaco smiled, her face heating up quickly. She could tell it was probably red.  "Thanks."

Their conversation seemed to fall as a tense silence filled the room. Uraraka could tell by the look on Deku's face that he had a lot on his mind. Of course he did. He probably needed time to think.

"W-Well...I should be heading back to the dorms. Mr. Aizawa will kill me if I'm not back before curfew." Ochaco said, a awkward chuckle escaping her lips. Deku looked up, and she could almost sense the sadness in his eyes.

"Oh..right." Ochaco watched as he fiddled with his thumbs, a deep blush suddenly covering his freckled face. "I-I...u-um...d-do you think I-I..I mean we! C-Could.."

Uraraka smiled at the boys stuttering, his embarrassment clear. She had to admit, she missed that. So much.

"Yes." She said, leaning in and pressing her lips against his softly. It had been forever since she'd been able to do that, and her lips had almost forgotten what if felt like to be linked with his.

Izuku's face turned completely red, but if he admitted it, he had missed the feeling of her lips against his. She softly caressed his cheek with her thumb, grazing over his freckles that dotted them.

Uraraka really didn't want to leave just yet, but she knew she had to. She slowly separated her lips from his, letting her hand rest on his cheek for a second longer.

"We'll see each other again soon, okay? Once you get out of the hospital, I'll be the first to give you a hug." Uraraka whispered, her face still incredibly close to his. He nodded, placing his hand on top of the one she had on his cheek, running his scarred fingers over her soft skin.

"A-Alright." Ochaco smiled sadly, giving him one last kiss on his forehead before separating her hands from his. "Bye Deku." She mumbled, waving while she walked out slowly. A heavy weight settled in her chest as she finally stepped out of his hospital room, the door closing behind her with a heavy thump
