You Promise?

The Brother

You have already been schooling Flora for the past few weeks. You knew flora had a brother but you never met him untill one morning he came home from his dorm at school.

"Ethan, is that you?" The little girl said  as she ran into the frount room. "Yep" the teenage boy said as he smiled. You where confused to see Ethan home, he wasn't supposed to be home for a few more months. He looked at you and his smile faded "I'm going to my room" he walked up stairs and down the hall.

"Sorry about him" the little girl spoke. "It's alright"

The next morning you went to the very clean and big dinning room for breakfast. Ethan and flora where already eating. You sat down in front of Ethan and started to talk to him, trying to create a connection between you two. After a few minutes the phone started ringing. You got up and went to see who it was, you answered the phone and listened to what they where saying. You slowly looked up and noticed ethan staring at you. He had a look of worry on his face.

After the call you went and sat down. You looked at Ethan and Floras care taker and said "his school was gonna send him some school work". She nodded. After breakfast the two children wondered off. You looked at there care taker. "Ethen was expelled from school, he beat up another student till they where cold." You where concerned.

The old woman looked at you "he's been having problems at school ever sence someone very close to him died from riding a horse." She grabbed the dishes and went to the kitchen. You stood there speech less.

A few hours later

You, Ethan,  and Flora walked through the foggy woods of the yard. Flora really wanted to show yoh he favorite part of the garden. After a while of walking you three approached a pound filled with beautiful fish. Flora looked to the side and screamed. You and Ethan looked over to see what she was making a fuss about. Your eyes mayed on a crow eating one of the fish. Ethan walked over to the fish and stomped on it head over and over again. Flora started to cry and hold onto your tightly. "ETHAN!" You yelled . "It shouldn't have to suffer." He said and ran off. "That one was my favorite fish.." flora cried. " don't worry, we can go get a new fish" you said sweetly.
