naila sits on the couch looking at the girl who's usually in her pajamas that is now dressed up in some pants and a oversized sweater she had gotten at a korean website. she also put on her sneakers and a small tote bag with her as well.

naila asks, "are you going somewhere?" you pursed your lips in response before saying, "none of your concern."

naila questions, "it isn't but when you are pacing the room and you are dressed when you usually don't, I think it's a concern."

"well, it's nothing important." you checked at your watch and seen that it is really 6:50. your cheeks flushed.

you were so nervous, but really for what. your mother comes down stairs and gives you a smile alongside naila.

"nai, sweetie, can you give me those cups in the table?" your mother sings. she is quite a singer. she then glances at you and sees how you're dressed. "you're going out?"

fixing your hair, you nodded. naila comes with the cups and hands it to the older. "I know mom, she's going out for the first time since mid terms."

your mother laughs and asks why. your cheeks flushed and all of a sudden a sudden doorbell ring was heard. you sighed. you remembered telling him to just text you so he didn't have to get caught or anything.

you opened the door and josh reached in for a hug. instead his eyes wandered to the older woman and naila herself. they both had a shock face on. naila was about to laugh, and the older woman was flustered. she said, "who is this young man?" she turned off the faucet and walks over to the younger. "oh hi! I'm josh."

"I didn't know you and y/n here we're dating!"

"oh my god mom."

you face planted your hand into your face and pushed josh back outside. "y/n! you didn't tell me you were going out with josh." naila said as the two of you jumped into the car.

"that is so embarrassing," you said breathless as you went into the passenger seat. josh laughed and said, "it's okay." you then said, "so where are we going?"

"the 626," he says. you smiled and questioned, "really? around westfield and everything?"

he then says, "hey! there's a festival today. and the fee is like five dollars to get in." you giggled as he turned on the engine.

the drive was slightly quiet. you realized that you were in a not-so-stranger's car and have no idea what you were putting yourself into. the chances of him killing you were fifty fifty but what can you say, possibilities are endless.

"you're listening to 02FM music station with jamie. hi everyone. today is a somewhat good feel day - uh this is a love song, I hope you're gathered with your special someone this night." the radio blared. "this song is very special, it's called 18 by one direction."

you smiled at the thought of this song. falling in love at the bright age of eighteen? feeling of having young love and at the dull ages of fifty you seen how that person grew.

"you know this song is really good," he mutters, tapping the steering wheel.

"yeah," you breathed out.

he laughs in embarrassment and says, "whenever I listened to this song, I would always think of if maybe naila was the one for me."

you turned to look at him, with soft eyes you smiled.

he shook his head, "it's crazy how much I can like someone and can't have them. but uh- enough about me. what about you? does this song remind you of anyone?"
