A cold spring wind often never brings a person to the beach. And yet her she was admiring the view. Leaning against the railing, her arms crossed over the edge as she looked over the horizon. The smell of the wasn't exactly appetizing but it was refreshing. The sky turned a dreamy orange and red array contrasting her indigo hair tone. It was a warm spring night still by the ocean it felt like the weather man lied on tv. She was glad to be prepared with a sweater otherwise she would be shaking like a leaf in the wind. The dark gray shorts and her black knee high socks would have her freezing by now. Originally she came our to clear her head from the monotonous cycle at home. Even the watching of the waves could get boring and with the sun getting close to the waves she also should get in a closer proximity to home. She would rather not hear the conversation from her guardian about stating out too late.
Turning to the opposite way she came knowing taking the same route would do no good for her. Stopping when she found someone crouched over on the side of the railing. It surprising since she had yet to notice them before now, even if she was in a public area this was careless. Assessing her surroundings again she found nothing about him that was out of the ordinary. Not her ordinary but their attire was the plainest choice that she had ever seen anyone wear. From their clothes to the shoe type, none of any were recognizable brands. She was sure she knew even the small business in the city. It's what kept her up at night, well into dawn the day right before the move. The fluffy green hair that she believed to be a bush before realizing it was an actual person.
"There's no way..."Before she knew it her mouth had spoken words that she didn't want to come out, loud enough for them to hear.
Dammit...Despite her known attributes that she had gained over the course of her life. Small talk unfortunately was not one of them. In fact it could be considered a weakness from how much she avoided it at every turn. Much like a annoyingly high level boss at the beginning of a game that was made to give a challenge to those who wanted it.
She didn't.
Although it was a natural reaction to someone talking to you would be to look up right? Well to her luck they didn't which was a relief until she heard a sound that she wished she didn't. Sniffling. This couldn't possibly get any worse, not only had she spoken rudely out of nowhere. She had been actively ridiculing their dress style while they were trying to cope. While she, herself, would never do it in such a public place she couldn't say the same for others. There was clear 4 minutes of silence between them which at this point was stressing her out. Not in the way that she wanted attention it was more nerve-racking that they hadn't say anything.
Forget it, we're already in this deep time to go full stop...Pushing herself to walk closer she crouched down to their level.
Finally they had noticed her meeting her eyes as soon as they were level. A deep green eyes looked at her confused to why she had gotten so close. Backing up, hitting the back of their head in the process of opening the space between them.
"Um...are you alright?"She hand to stop from checking herself as she didn't know them well enough. Her hands was held out itching to assist before she brought her senses back.
"...Think so."His response was quick this time, rubbing the back of their head.
Letting them recover from the shock of the blunt hit to the skull. She couldn't do much in that department after all she was no healer. Nor was she fortunate enough to be carrying any first aid kit materials on her. While she waited it became clear of the blatant s.w.e.a.t.e.r logo on their shirt. The grey sweater would be fine on it's own but seeing the design just say the name of the fabric. It was so straight forward she had to stop herself from laughing as she just watched them injure themselves a second ago.
