I sat there as he slammed the door left out the room I ran to the bathroom closed and locked the door I washed the blood of my face applied some peroxide I went back to my room packed my clothes I looked at the clock and waited till 12:13 he goes to work at 12:13 that exact time never early never late. As I heard the front door close and his car start up I ran down stairs and peeked out the window to make sure he was gone. As soon as I was sure he was gone I opened the door and ran I didn't close the door behind me because I could care less if someone went in there. I ran to the nearest bus stop and got on the bus driver ask me " little lady where you heading" "my name is serenity not little lady and I'm going far away from here"
