Finding a New Rythem With Eachother

*Flashback*

When they landed back in LA, Mason and Owen went back to their parents. Milo knew that Mia’s parents were never around, so he had her come back to his mom’s with him. Little did Milo know, his parent’s already knew about the baby and Mia had been staying with Cammie ever since Milo left for College. As the Uber pulled up to Cammie’s house Milo helped Mia out before grabbing their bags. “Mia?” “Yah?” “We're going to have to tell my mom. She’s going to notice” Milo said motioning to Mia’s stomach. Before Mia could tell Milo that she had been living with his mom and that she knew Milo kissed her. “Whatever happens when we tell her, just remember that i’m not going anywhere.” Milo said as he opened the door. “Hey mom, I'm home” Milo hollered as him and Mia walked into the house. “Milo!” Cammie cried as she hugged her son. “Hi mama. Can we go sit in the living room and talk?” Milo asked as he released his mom from the hug. 

The three made their way to the living room. Once they were all sitting, Milo looked at his mom as he held Mia’s hand. “Mom, we have something to tell you. Mia is pregnant” Milo looked at his mom as she smiled. “I know Milo.” “What do you mean you know?” Milo asked, confusion evident in his voice. “Mi, I tried telling you before we came into the house. When I found out I didn’t know what to do. After you left for NYU I told your mom. I knew my parents wouldn’t help. I have been living here since you left.”
“WHAT! No you haven’t, i’ve been home on the holidays and you haven't been here.” “No I wasn't. Each time I knew you were coming home for the holidays I would go stay at a hotel. I was too afraid to tell you or see you. Cammie said I should stay and tell you, but I was too afraid.” “Then why did you fly to New York and tell me?” Mia and Cammie could hear the anger in Milo’s tone as he started pacing back and forth in the living room. Both of them knew that Milo always had a temper and that it got bad when he lost it. “Because I don’t want my child to have the life I did. I want them to know their father, not a stepdad, that could care less about them just like their actual parents” Mia said as she felt the tears fall down her face. 

*Present time*

Mia and Milo have been back at his mom’s for almost a week. After the night they came back and Milo almost had a blow up and Mia got upset, Camryn had them sit down and talk it out calmly the next morning. After talking everything out, everything seemed to be better. Milo had decided while he was home for spring break that he would move Mia into his room. To Milo’s surprise Mia had agreed. What Milo didn’t know was that Mia had agreed, because she missed Milo and was tired of feeling lonely at night when she went to bed. “Milo” Mia hollered from the bed room. Milo went running up the stairs as fast as his long legs would carry him. “W-what’s wrong?” Milo asked as he tried to catch his breath. “Umm, I need some help getting my shoes on before we leave for the doctors.” Mia said as Milo walked over to her. “You scared the shit out of me Mia. I thought something was wrong with you or the baby” Milo chuckled, so Mia didn’t think he was mad at her. 

Once at the doctors, Milo helped Mia out of the car. Mia went and signed in and then took a seat next to Milo. “So how do these appointments work?” Milo asked as they sat in the waiting room. This was the first appointment Milo had been to since Mia told him she was pregnant. “They just do an ultrasound to check on the baby and listen to the heartbeat” Mia said as she chuckled at Milo’s cute and confused expression on his face. “Sorry for asking a bunch of questions” “It’s ok Mi. I know this is new to you too. You can ask me any questions.” “Thanks Mia.” After a few more minutes the nurse came out to get her. Once back in the exam room, the nurse had Mia sit on the exam table while she did her vitals. Once the nurse was done she left the room. “Milo” “Yeah?” “I know this is all new to you and everything, but this is the appointment that we can find out the baby's gender, if you're ok with it.” Whatever you want is what will do Mia.” Milo smiled down at her as the doctor walked in. “Hi Mia, How are you feeling today?” “Good.” As doctor Fields walked into the room she noticed Milo standing beside the exam table. “Who do you have with you today?” She asked looking at Milo. “Hi I’m Milo” “Hi Milo. It’s nice to finally meet you.” Milo looked at Mia with a smirk on his face. “You’ve told everyone about me?” He smirked as he noticed Mia blushing. “No. Doctor Fields knows of you from your work on disney. Her kids love it.” “Really?” “No you dork. Your mom has been coming to appointments with me” She chuckled. Milo couldn’t help but smile when she laughed.

As doctor Fields pulled up Mia’s shirt to do her ultrasound, Milo’s eyes just about popped out of his head. Milo knew Mia was 5 and half months pregnant, but this was the first time he's seen her stomach without her shirt covering it. Milo couldn’t believe that him and Mia made that as he saw the baby on the screen. Mi looked up at Milo as she heard him choke back a sob. “Milo it’s ok to cry. I did the first time I saw the baby too.” Mia said as she moved her hand to wipe Milo’s tears away. Milo shook his head as he looked back at the screen. “Ok Mia. Everything looks good. Did you want to find out the gender today?” “Yes” Mia said as she looked back at Milo. He was smiling down at her as she looked back at doctor Fields. “Ok, let's see” doctor Fields said as she moved the wand around Mia’s stomach. “Congratulations you two…. You're having a baby girl. “A girl!” Mia choked out as she started to cry. “Yes. After the doctor finished up, she left the two while Milo helped Mia off the exam table. “Mi” “Yeah?” “We're having a baby girl!” Mia said as she started crying again. “Hey” Milo said as he lifted her chin, so she was looking at her. “Mia, I just want you to know that I still love you. I never stopped loving you. I’ll always be there for both of you” MIlo said as he leaned down and kissed her. Mia was shocked at first, but she quickly returned it. “I love you to Mi” She said as he helped her off the exam table. “Come on, let’s go home and relax” Milo said as he drove them back to his mom’s house.
