Saved // Bang Chan

Chapter 1

As you dragged your legs out of your art class,
You headed to the courtyard where the basketball team would practice every Tuesday.
You were asked to take a few pictures of them playing so it could be put in the weekly newspaper as they won their basketball tournament quite a few days ago.

You liked being the school photographer.
Being able to take pictures of your surroundings, was fun.
Not only was it beautiful, but you were able to look at the pictures you took of all the handsome boys in your school.
There was one boy that most definitely caught your eye.
His name was Bang Chan.

It seemed as if they never noticed him.
As if he was invisible to his surroundings. The way girls would fan girl over all the cute boys apart of the basketball team and seem to leave the poor boy out. You were never able to put your finger on what the boy did as to why he would be left out of everything.
Intrigued was what you were.

As you saw the outcast escaping the chaotic crowd of crazy girls and head for the staircase that lead to the rooftop, you suddenly had this abrupt urge to follow him and maybe soon enough , befriend him.
As you quietly opened the doors to the rooftop, you noticed the boy sitting on the edge of the roof with his legs dangling, watching all the students enjoy their lunch time, letting his thoughts entertain him.

"It's quite lonely up here, don't ya think?"
Chan whipped his head around to look at who the voice belonged to.

"Yeah, it is. I like it that way."
He replied whilst standing up and walking towards the exit doors.

"Wouldn't you like company?"
Chan started to get irritated by now, but all you wanted to do was start a nice, innocent conversation, and all he wanted was some peace and quite all to himself. Was that too much to ask for?

"If you don't mind, I'll be leaving now."
He added harshly, and before you could even open your mouth there he was, pacing down the stairs.

You were left dumbfounded as to why the boy wouldn't budge and have at least a decent conversation with one of his classmates,
Was that too much too ask for?
