Oh Alphas

Chapter 3

   Everything is moving so fast I scream out in pain and collapse. Before I know it, I'm overwhelmed with a sharp pain spreading out from my chest. Then everything goes black.

Monti Bane:

   Of all people the last person I expected to be my baby sisters mate was our jerk kid alpha but here we are. I knew the moment he demanded her name what was going on. I stood up ready to handle whatever he chose to do. Then without hesitation he rejected her and within seconds she was on the floor unconscious. As soon as she collapsed the alpha began to stride out of our home like he had just made the biggest accomplishment possible.

   Just seeing the sheer disrespect he had for the mate bond was enough to enrage me but then the pain he caused my poor baby sister was too much. Without hesitation I ran after him and tackled him to the floor. I knew I could easily overtake him. He was a cocky alpha so he never trained, just assumed he would be safely protected by the pack forever. At that moment I knew... I knew what i had to do.

    I mind linked the pack and told them to meet me and the alpha in front of the pack house. Just like that I shut off my link, grabbed the alpha by the color of his shirt and dragged him to the town center where the packed house resided. Once there the pack was already crowding around gossiping about what could be going on. As I walk to the center dragging a reluctant alpha behind me the crowd goes silent.

   Once in the center I look around and yell out " This pathetic excuse of a wolf is who we call our leader. We tolerate his behavior and childish leadership out of respect for his fallen father. We all held home that once he met his mate she would change him and they would lead our pack with honor. Today he met his mate and without a second thought he rejected my sister as nothing. He doesn't deserve to be honored by this pack any longer. Tonight Monti Bane challenged Alpha Kalib for his position! '' once I made this statement gasps rang out across the town. Everyone knowing what this meant and me knowing I could never take this back. " You cant do that you dumb bitch!" The alpha tells from behind me. " yes I can, and i did you worthless shit!" 

   Then the pack begins to move back making room for the fight about to take place. I step away from him and shift into my wolf waiting for him to follow. I can smell the pure fear rolling off of his wolf from the moment he shifts. He knows I will win. Then without warning I charge. He fights back trying with all he has to remove me from above him. He snaps his teeth at me leg and drips off a chunk of my fur. I growl out in pain and retaliate quickly snapping his neck between my teeth. As I feel his blood oozing down my mouth and I hear the life drain from his body with every final heartbeat I step back.

   I then shift back and reach out to a pack member who hold out a pair of shorts. I swiftly slip them on and look out over the pack. " Tonight in front of you all I declare that I Monti bane am your new Alpha. The pack will now be known as the Bane pack and to show my devotion to making this pack better.. I declare that all those who want to leave are now free to go. For those who stay things will be different starting immediately. I want to call a pack meeting in the center in 2 hours go home gather your family's and meet back here." Then I swiftly walk home to check on my family.
