His Goddess

The Promise

-2,000 years ago-

Meliodas was walking to the border of the goddesses and demons to see a certain someone he loved. He saw the brown haired and brown eyed goddess warrior he loved. They have known eachother since they were kids and he never stopped loving her. She is a stubborn, determined, strong, hot headed, aggressive, confident, powerful, stern, protective, skilled and beautiful woman. At first she hated him but over the years she fell in love with him but denied it at first, but soon learned to melt into it. She was the dominate warrior and most powerful. She will not stop a battle or war once it starts. He watched her at the border, he would see her argue, punch, fight, protect and scream at people most of the time but then caught him staring and would roll her eyes. One day Zeldris meliodas younger brother was ordered to kill the brown hair goddess in order to get the love of his life Gelda back from the demon king. He had no choice but to kill the goddess. When he did he carried her lifeless, cold and bloody body to meliodas. Meliodas looked at his brother then the goddess he loved. "Zeldris what did you do!?!?!" he yelled at his brother. "Father said to do it in order to get Gelda back i had no choice" his brother argued. They fought and meliodas won. Meliodas then picked up the body of the woman he loved he walked to the border but as soon as he did he collapsed crying cradling her dead body as he cried. Elizabeth her sister saw this and flew over to him. "meliodas what happened?!" she cried "He killed her, he killed her! Zeldris killed the woman i love Elizabeth shes gone! shes dead" he cried as Elizabeth cried too. Meliodas then saw the demon king and deity as him and Elizabeth cried over the brunet goddess dead body. Meliodas then screamed "HOW COULD YOU KILL HER!!?? SHE DID NOTHING WRONG!! WHY DID YOU DO IT!?!??!" "IT WAS PUNISHMENT FOR LOVING A GODDESS! YOU ARE NO LONGER MY SON A TRAITOR!" The demon king yelled. Meliodas then fought the demon king while Elizabeth fought the deity. "THIS IS FOR HER!! THIS IS FOR SAVANNAH SO SHE DOESNT DIE IN VEIN!!" he yelled. But they both lost the demon king then said "IF YOU WANT HER BACK THEN FIND A WAY TO REVIVE HER IN 1,000 YEARS WHEN YOU CANT AFTER THAT THEN HER SOUL WILL BE MINE AND YOU WILL NEVER HAVE HER AGAIN!" the demon king said and left as meliodas cried and passed out. He found a way to keep her body young that way when he revives her she will never age and they will be together again. He has been searching for so long and hasn't found it. He has 1,000 years so he should be enough time.

-PRESENT DAY- (when they look for king )

-Meliodas pov-

I sit in the room that has her body laying perfectly on the bed. I hold her cold soft hand, and whisper "Savannah, please wake up i beg you i cant live without you please open your eyes and speak to me. I promise i will find a way to bring you back. Until then please know im trying everything i can and i love you" i kiss her, wipe my tears and leave. "she still hasn't woken up?" hawk asked and i nod. "please don't tell the others, when the time comes i will tell them" i said and he nods. I walk in the bar to see two kids eating and saying in order to enter necropolis you have to share memories with the dead. We went to a field of flowers and i remembered what the kid said share memories with the dead.

-Flashback-

I watch savannah from the border admiring her beauty when she walks up to me. "meliodas would you stop one day your gonna get caught and karma will be a b***h so just warning you" she told me. "How can i stop when im not with the one i love isn't giving me a chance?" i tell her she blushes. I then poke her boob just to make her angry, she punched me and i ran into Estarossa. "Meliodas what are you doing?" the kid asked. "Nothing i just got into a fight with a friend." i said and she yelled "WHERE NOT FRIENDS HE IS A PERVERT!" and i laughed then Estarossa asked "What perverted thing did you do to make a goddess punch you?" he giggled "i poked her boob" and we begun laughing as savannah started to protest how im a bad influence and if i did it again or he did it then she would hesitate to hurt us.

-Flashback end-

We then transported to a place covered in green crystals, we assumed the necropolis. I then see specks of white light and savannah appears. "Hello, meliodas i missed you" she smiled. "s-savannah?!" i ask fighting back tears who were begging to fall. "Meliodas why are you crying im right her?" she ask "because I've missed you" i tell her. "oh my love, please don't cry, we will see eachother soon i just know it and plus you have so many friends so you don't have to cry over me you can laugh with them and wait for me" she smiles. She then flies away saying goodbye but i follow after her yelling her name. Soon i find her screaming her name and she comes over kissing me and says "I love you meliodas but you need to leave my side now your friends are in trouble. I nod and leave saying our goodbyes to eachother.

-Diane pov-

Captain ran off after talking to light and crying. I was a little worried but suspicious about the lights. We then see captain in front of us a couple minutes later to fight a holy knight by the name Gulia. After ban, captain and i couldn't fight anymore king and the unknow lights from earlier appear captain then says "savannah what are you doing!?!?" savannah? who is that? We are then fade out but the light appears in front of captain again and he says "i promise to bring you back and well be together again savannah. i love you." and then were back to the real world. What did he mean by again? what promise? who is savannah? and did he say he loved her? i thought. King then leisured us on sacred treasures when hawk ask captain "Did you see her?" captain looks at him wide eyed for a second but then nods. "did you tell her the promise?" hawk asked again and captain nods again. "Captain who is she that you an hawk keep talking about?!" i asked annoyed and jealous. "yeah was she the light you were talking to sir meliodas?" asked Elizabeth. "The light was my old lover" he said sadly. "meliodas, you don't have to" hawk began but was interrupted by meliodas "She was the only woman i loved, she was different from all the other girl and that's what i liked about her. She was a warrior, a fighter, tomboy, and very stubborn. I used to mess around with her and she always reacted aggressive to it which always made me laugh. She was amazing but one day something tragic happened and i never forgave myself" he explained. I then felt bad for being jealous and Elizabeth asked "what happened?" "my brother killed her" he replied coldly and went inside the tavern.

-Hawk pov-

I tried to warn everyone that this would happen but no one ever listens. I then walk upstairs to the room savannah is in and see him talking and crying to her. She is so beautiful and he told me stories about her and she was amazing. I then walk beside him and said "you know sometimes i don't like you because your a pervert but one thing i do like is how much you care and respect her. she seems important and if you need anything im here to help and plus i know you will find a way to bring her back" and walk out.
