I woke up this morning, noticing the same blinding sun in my eyes. I could really use some new curtains. Today would be the usual. Get ready, go to the coffee shop, then head to work. I live in London, England and I work at the hospital right in the middle of the city. We get a few famous people in there once and a while. Not often though. I really remember the time Alan Carr came into the office. I had to take a couple of x-rays of his ankle, but we talked the entire time. He is honestly really nice, and doesn't act like your ordinary famous person. I just couldn't imagine a person like him talking to a person like me. It was as if we had known each other for like five years. It was somewhat unusual. But nice.
"Order 32!" I heard a woman yell. "That's me. Thank you" I said back, giving the woman a two dollar tip. She looked at me like I was crazy, but gladly accepted. I have been coming to this coffee shop, and I think they could really use a little renovation. The place was worn down, but people still went there. I don't blame them though. This was in fact the best coffee shop in town. I guess I really shouldn't stand here much longer. I'll be late for work.
"What is the hold up?" I heard some patient yell in the waiting room. "Sir, we're just backed up a little bit today. I'm really sorry for the inconvienence" I said to the elderly man. he was in real bad condition, and as slow as this place was today, I felt bad for him. I wouldn't be shocked if he just got up and left. That is how bad it was in the office. I actually wouldn't blame a single other person for leaving. Just think, only a couple more hours and I will be out of here. I was only working a ten hour shift today and it was already 1:30 in the afternoon. Today had been pretty stressful, but I could cope with it. I managed it every other day, I'm pretty sure one more day and more to come wouldn't make much of a difference.
"Hey Kelsey! You can leave early today! Ellen is coming in!" I heard a familiar voice yell from behind a desk. "Alright! Thank you so so much!" I yelled back. it was my boss Charlotte. She really understands me. She is also very kind and has an amazing personality. I wouldn't say we're friends, just good acquaintances. I'm glad I get the chance to work for somone like her. I'm also really glad its the end of my shift. Its been a long day. I have a personal life as well than just spending my entire time of every day at work. some people just don't understand that. I packed all of my stuff up and changed out of my scrubs and left. Finally.
Since I really had nothing at home to eat for dinner, I decided to go shopping and get some groceries for the flat. I saw a group, more like a mob, of people crowded outside the entrance of the store. Maybe they had a really good sale going on and the check-out lines were backed up. Or maybe someone really famous was on the inside and their body guards were outside the store not letting anyone in. Of course I would come up with a crazy idea like that. Nobody was moving out of the way or going inside, so I just decided to push my way through the crowd abd go on inside. I grabbed a grocert cart and started out by getting some fruits, thinking I might as well start a healthy diet now than never. Man, I sure do think a lot. Making my way to the frozen section I noticed there really wasn't anybody in here. There's normally quite of people in the store when I come, which meant waiting in lines to check-out. But since there weren't that many people, taht meant there wouldn't be a line to check-out. Int the frozen section I picked up some meats and frozen vegetable. As I was turning around to leave, I bumped into someone. "I'm so" I said looking up "sorry." It was the one and only Harry Styles. "No worries" he said with a thick British accent. "Alright" I said blushing a deep red and began to go on my way. I was already finished shopping, and I couldn't imagine hime of all people wanting to talk to me. "Wait" I hear the familiar accent call out. "I didn't formally introduce myself. My name is Harry" Of course I already knew who he was. I am like one of the biggest fans on the one and only boy band One Direction. The thing is, I'm only 19. I know I work in a hospital and have an unusually good job for a 19 year old, but I gratuated high school when I was 17 and had two good years of college going for me, so they accepted my application at the hostpital. Harry's 18 so, I could possibly see things going my way this time. "I'm Kelsey" I said, those seeming to be the only words I could get out. "Gorgeous. Just like you" he said being his natural cheeky self. Before I could say anything else, I heard another familiar voice call out. "Harry! Where did you go?!" It seemed to be Louis Tomlinson, Harry's best friend. "I'm over here in isle two!" Harry answered back. "I'm sorry to leave you like this, but I really must go" I said to the charming lad. "How can I reach you? I would really enjoy getting to know you "he said with a deep accent. "Here" I said handing him a slip of paper. "What is this?" he asked with a confused look on his face. "My phone number. Call me sometime, okay?" I said smiling. "Alright. I will. I promise" he said looking at the piece of paper and smiling.
