"We become what he wants. He always gets his way."
That was the last phrase the figure said as I sinked into the ground, engulfed in grief and sorrow. Yet, I woke up to an eternal light, stretching as far as Heaven could prevail. With each step I took, the clouds wrapped around my feet. I felt myself stop as I looked up; and there it was. The Gates of Heaven.
I tried to walk forward, yet an unimaginably force kept me outside its borders. The legends stated that the Gates would open if you have done good and brought joy to others. Yet, the Gates did not open for me. I tried walking in again, but I've been pushed further from my goal. What was happening? Why was I here? "Why have you brought me here?" I asked. I waited for His response. In an instant, he swooped me off of my feet, and levitated me to look at his heavenly, yet demonic eyes.
"I brought you here not because you did good or you deserve to be here, but to help me." He walked beside me as He held me against his godly torso. "So how was it on Earth, human?" he asked me. Although his gentle grasp made me feel warm, I could feel his eyes staring down on me, sending a chill down my spine.
"It was... okay, I guess. But, I'm still confused why you brought me here." I faced Him and looked into His eyes, but I could not look at him properly.
He brought himself closer to me and whispered in my ear, "Do you see anyone living here?" That brought me into my senses. I looked around and saw... no one. The wind rustled the lush trees, yet no one stood under them. Pillars stood as high as the stars, yet no one leaned against them. There was no one here.
"Wait... how-" I suddenly felt my mouth shut as He stared me down. The sight of God and his demonic eyes looked into my soul, and as He judged me, he finally said something.
"You wonder why no one is here?" I suddenly started sweating. The environment got hotter. I started to notice the ground below me turned into rocks and magma. The trees melted and the pillars disintegrated. Soon, I realized where I was. Hell. Now, I can see every single human. They were locked up in cages. "You see all these people? Soon, you will be like them." "God" had transformed into Satan, consumed in magma and wrath. He squeezed me in the air. I tried to escape his grasp, but I had no energy left to do so.
I felt myself lose consciousness as he held me in his grasp. The fiery landscape whirled around me as I fell into a deep slumber, destined to wake up in eternal suffering.
