Oh no.....he saw me..
"Ummm..... seolhee?.....is that you" jungkook asked.
"Hey.....hi... um yea it's me" I said getting up
"Hey.......so you heard everything?" He asked looking down.
"Yea.....I did" I answered.
"Don't misunderstand me.....I like to talk to myself.....hehehe. I like to form imaginary things and talk to them" He said in an embarrassed tone
"Oh......kay......so that ghost you were talking about was imaginary?"
"Yeah..."
I actually misunderstood him....... but why a ghost....... nevermind
"Anyway here's your science notebook" I tried to change the topic.
"Oh thanks.....I think we should go right now or else we'll be late."
"Oh yea.... right. We should"
We started going down the stairs. It was getting kinda akward so Jungkook spoke:
"Which class do you have right now?"
"Oh.... English. What about you"
"It's maths"
"Oh god....I hate maths. Idk why I can't do science and maths 😭"
Jungkook smiled at my reaction
"Anyway....why do talk to yourself. If u don't mind telling me" I asked him casually
"Hm...... I don't know. I don't havea best friend or a sibling so.... I guess I had to entertain myself in someway."
"I can't approach people first. I'm kinda shy to talk first so......I never approach any people and nobody comes to talk to me. You were the first one"
He laughed while saying the last lines.
Oh my...he doesn't have friends to talk to. God! I feel so bad
"You can talk to me if you want to. I mean..... it's better than being alone right."
He showed me his bunny smile and nodded.
My class came so I said goodbye to him and got into my class. Lalisa and Jennie were sitting beside eachother.
"Hey seolhee! Over here" they said while pointing at the seat in front of Jennie.
"Hey! What happened to the teacher? Isn't she gonna come today?" I asked both of them
"She's gonna come a little late. She sent a person to convey the message" Jennie replied.
"But anyway.....where were you?" Lisa asked
"Oh.....I was on the rooftop with jungkook"
"Ohh....that weird guy? Why? Wait.... Don't tell me......do you like him?" Jennie asked without letting me speak.
"Hey! Calm down....... Lemme speak" I said.
"Opp.... sorry. Hehe"
"So...he lives near my house........so I saw him yesterday and asked him whether he did his science homework because I hadn't done it and luckily he had done it so I borrowed it for a day. I had to return it today so I went to give him his notebook." I said
"Ohhh...... I thought something was going on between you two." Lisa said in a disappointed tone
"Noo... we're just friends"
"Ok we get it" Jennie said in a flirty kind of tone.
"I'm so sorry children I am late. Let's begin with our class" our teacher said while rushing through the door.
*Meanwhile jungkook's p.o.v*
Oh god.....that was a close call. But she's so sweet to ask me to talk to her instead of talking to myself.
That was unexpected.
Oh no...... please, not him.
