I could feel it behind me, it was so fast but I kept running where ever my feet took me, my lungs felt like they were on fire, out of breath. Every gust of air being knocked out of me before I could take some in.
It felt like every muscle in my body ached and cried out to me to quell but I couldn't. I kept sprinting. The only thing that's keeping me from being overtaken are the trees. I needed to keep running, running in the dense mire.
If things weren't hard enough already, it started getting louder, piercing through my ears, blood-curdling screams cut through thin air.
"help me! Please don-, let me go-, mass murders have been takin-, four teenage boys have gone missing-, it hurts! kill me plea-, you can't- outrun- the dooms da- "
My heart pounded against my chest. It was too much to bear, I can't take it, my head felt like it's gonna explode.
The static. The voices, crumbling as it glitched over and over. Screams. Murders. Death."
Everything felt like a blur, I can't keep up. My body came to a halt as my feet caught on something I couldn't tell, knocking me over to the ground.
"NO! NOOO! PLEASE! NO NO! PLEASE STOP!"
I let out a cacophony as I kept screaming, I felt my body go cold-blooded, the emotionless screeching looming closer and closer.
My mind kept crying out;
—run! run! run!—
but my body seemed to give up as I laid there limp.
I never thought I would end up like this, I never thought this is how it'll end.
Only if I knew this is how I die, If there was any place in this world I would want to be, this would have been the
"last place to be".
