Cameron's POV
"Mom, dad! What're you doing here? Aren't you supposed to be at work?"
"Honey your in the emergency room, why wouldn't we be here?" Well because you're never there for me at home. They both walk over to me with worry on their faces and do what every parent would, ask me how I feel.
"Fine, better."
"What happened? How did this happen?" Oh great. I'll have to tell them everything about Zayn now, and all the horrible details.
"Well I.... Um....you see." It hurts to even say the words.
"She was at work and well she didn't have any food in her stomach so she passed out from all the energy that was drained from her, well working." Harry surprises me by saying to my parents. I'll have to thank him later, he really is changing his opinion of mine on him. Although I don't actually believe if my parents will think that story is true.
"Oh honey. I am so sorry. But um, who is this honey?" She whispers it so Harry can't hear, she didn't do a good job.
"I'm Harry, nice to meet you ma'am." Ma'am? Really?
"He's a friend mom, he's also in my literature class." Why am I trying to make it seem I know him so well. Ive had a long night, and now day. The last thing I want to do is explain anything. My head is throbbing and my throat hurts too, for some unknown reason. My mom notices my sickened look and says she'll go get me some soup from the cafe downstairs. My dad, who hasn't said one thing to me since they arrived, follows her. Although my dad is, well my dad, we've never been that compatible. I was always a mommas girl.
"So, that was awkward." Harry says as he breaks me away from my thoughts. He isn't wrong about that. I'm still very surprised he came.
"Why'd you tell her that bullshit story?" My mind speaks for herself. He shifts uncomfortably before answering.
"Well by the way you were stuttering it seemed like you didn't want to tell her the real story, and you looked like you were about to cry. I don't like to see people cry, especially on such a pretty face." My stomach flutters at the kinds words he just expressed.
"Well, thank you styles." For saving my ass for now. I really don't ever want to tell them about zayn, but I know I have to or else one day they invite him over for dinner.
When there's a knock at the door I look over to Harry and whisper to him "Who is that?"
"Oh, it's probably Liam. I told him to meet me here." Liam? Oh right. Perrie's...ex, now that is. And once again I'm reminded of the terrible memory that I cannot escape from for one minute. Harry walks over to the door to open it and when he does I'm astonished to see Zayn standing there with tulips in hand. Ew, tulips. I hate tulips. Zayn walks past Harry, not even acknowledging his presence, and comes toward me.
"Cameron, baby, are you okay?" You've got to be kidding me right now.
"Zayn go away. I don't want to see you, ever again." I make sure to emphazsize the ever.
"Cameron. I love you, I always will. I'm so sorry about everything, I didn't think about you during that..time, I was being so selfish please cameron. I'm so sorry about earlier, I didn't mean it. I was just angry about how you spent time with Har.." Before he can finish he looks over to Harry and the next second he has Harry's shirt collar in his fist.
"What the hell are you doing here, with my girl," I cringe at the way he claims me as property almost "you think you can just tell her some bullshit and she'll believe you. Well you can't, so get the fuck out of here before you're in the room next door from getting their head smashed in." I have never seen this side of Zayn, and it's not a pleasant sight. Harry stands there with furious eyes and grabs Zayns wrists to get them off his collar.
