Happy Reading.

Kaash hum thodi aur koshish karte,
Tum, main itni jaldi haar nahi maante,
Thoda waqt guzarne dete,
Haalato ka saamna saath milkar karte...

Kaash thodi mushkil aane par yuhi ek dusre ko itni aasani se jaane na dete,
Haath thamb kar ek dusre ki himmat ban jaate,
Khudko aur is rishte jarasa sambhal lete,
To ye Dil aise tut kar na bikharte...

Lekin shayad humare naseeb me saadgi thi hi nahi,
Bas ek baar mil ke bichad jaana likha tha,
Zindagi ka ek aehem sabak sikha jana likha tha,
Ek dusre ko Sirf yaado me saath rakhna likha tha...

Thought boggled his mind as Abir ran with all his might to stop mishti from going to London. He never wanted this kind of distance between them, her going away from his life was the worst nightmare which was on the verge of becoming a reality because of his anxious, hasty & protective(in his opinion) decision of ending their relationship, accusing her of the things he wouldn't utter even in his dreams, but was this all in his hand? No. He did what he felt was correct according to him, he couldn't think of anything else, he had to protect his Nanko, his Fatherly instincts took over, the neend mein bhi hoshiyar Abir was forced to behave out of his character.

He regretted each of his actions, loathed himself for each poisonous word that left his mouth, how he wished to rewind the time & fix the blunder, how he hoped to get everything back, he needed Mishti like a bird needs the flower, like the moon needs the sun, without the suns brightness moon is nothing but a ball of darkness, it reflects what is projected, despite of the flaws its still considered as beautiful & symbolic. Mishti is that sun in abir's life, she came with the brightness of love, compassion, understanding without any conditions & helped him shine on his beauty.  If she left him today because of his mistake the moon would lose itself in the darkness of the sky.

Sitting in the waiting area with a worried look, nervousness causing her to clasp the passport hard in her hands, Mishti was lost, devastated & heartbroken, she couldn't believe the happenings, there must have been some reason for his behavior she thought but never doubted his love, her faith on him, their love was unwavering. She did not want to leave him in this mess but abir didn't leave any other option, he pushed her hard to go away but couldn't make her hate him.

Frantically searching for her through the crowd, the que, he ran like a mad man. Too distracted to notice his own ragged breathing, praying to his partner, cursing himself. His head started spinning, slouching on the knees he closed the eyes, took in deep breathes to calm the racing heart & the chaotic scared mind, staying in that position he opened his eyes, slowly looked up & stilled at the picture of mishti, sitting on the bench, in front of him.

Mishti was too self absorbed & unaware of her surroundings, her mind & heart were at war, the creases on her forehead deepened with each thought, the frown grew & her lips went dry, she kept on fiddling with the passport in her hands & adjusting her specs. The weird pull in her heart increased with passing seconds, the feeling of helplessness made her claustrophobic.

Abir's voice clogged in his throat, it betrayed him, he wanted to shout, call her name but nothing came out of his mouth. He saw her getting up and moving towards the boarding gate & he snapped out, "MISHTIII" the sound came out harsher, like a desperate plea asking her to stay.

Mishti stood rooted at her spot, felt like she was hallucinating & hearing stuff. she saw stars in broad daylight & a sharp beeping sound when she turned around & spotted abir standing there with a defeated look on face & slouched posture.

Abir couldn't believe his eyes, everything blurred out for him when she turned around, he felt paralyzed with the overwhelming surge of emotions. He saw his world crashing down when he got the news of Mishti leaving him forever but now when she was right in front of him, he felt the warmth of hope again. "mishti" this time it was more of a whisper, with tears rolling down the cheeks he smiled looking at her running towards him.

Dropping all her stuff mishti flung herself in his open arms, burying her face deep in the crook of his neck and holding on like her life dependent on him. She cried her heart out, dampening his shirt.

He held her small frame in his arms, finding the place to hide from all the cruelty of the world, he found solace in her arms, holding her as close to as possible he let the feeling of her being with him so close sink in, shutting the eyes he let the tears drop down freely. Thanking his partner,  he found his sun to fill up his life with light again.
