Chapter eight: Musical Duo (part one)

Back where we left off...

Izuku had just entered his room and changed clothes. Now going for the earring, Midoriya opened the door to his room when the little brat was there." Izuku!! I haven't seen you all day!!!".The sound quirk didn't have the nerve to even bother with this loving girl. He shoves the girl out of his way, but she kept coming back. With a demanding voice he said"Get off me Lilith, I'm going to the store", The little girl sat down a pouted. At least she understood that he wasn't playing. He hasn't Stuttered at all through the embrace.

He finally left the dorm house and went his way, Traveling to the store. Picking up all the needs, and went back. But he remembered something, Izuku needed something for the guitar. He checked his phone for the time. It read 4:13 pm, More than enough time. Midoriya made a detour to the music store. Inside was a wonder for all musicians. The green-haired teen went to the guitar section. He needed a pick as the other was missing. Most likely the little girl stole it, No surprise there.

Traversing through the section, Looking up and down for the perfect one. While he was looking around, he notices quite familiar purple hair, the style was stunning. She was next to the rest of the picks, So Izuku walked over. The closer he got, the more it looks like Jirou-San. Which it was, Looks like she was shopping too. But what exactly, Izuku could help due to him coming here very often.

Kyoka was bent over looking very carefully for something, At curiosity, Izuku tapped her shoulder. The earphone jack flinched and her aux cords spiked, Izuku thought this is a weird reaction. He said, "Looks like you're looking for something, I can help".She calmed down and said, "Oh, sure. But don't do that.".He promised and asked her what she was looking for. She answered " a pick".Certain one she wanted, Izuku suggested she gets a custom one. Jirou took the suggestion and did, The one she wanted to have a purple background and the same symbol in her hair. Izuki wanted a pick with a gray background and silver sound wave on it. The two ordered this and got it at the same time. It only took 20 minutes for it to be done.

"That went better than expected, though there is one thing I want to ask you. But I want to be in your room to ask".Izuku questioned why hasn't asked all the questions? Was it about my quirk? And why in his room, There's nothing to see in there. Izuku nodded.

The two made it back to the dorms, Izuku had the groceries in his hand. He went to Uraraka, who was in the kitchen, And gave her the groceries. Uraraka thanked our cinnamon roll. He then proceeded to his room as for Jirou-San had asked him to, Looks like both of his secrets were out.

Izuku found himself watching a girl take an actual tour of his room, She noticed a lot of music-related things. Especially the microphone he had. Finally, she took a seat in the Izuku chair and asked"Soooo, what's this microphone".Izuku scratched the back of his head and replied"For my..".The same event happened. The earphone jack once again threatening him. The sound quirk sighed and Spoke the truth"I create videos on Metube".She then raised an eyebrow and asked"What kind of videos and what's your channel?".He struggled to answer but said"M-music videos and it's Isound".

Shocked in the joy of what the green-haired teen said, She quickly asked"Can you play something".Now being more open about his secret, he replied"Well, I guess you can wait here for me to record something. Umm can you sit on my bed, I need to be next to the microphone".Kyoka did what he asked, He proceeded to grab his guitar and set up the recording. Sitting down and getting ready to start but first said"Oh can you stay quiet, N-not to be rude but I don't want any other noise".Kyoka nodded not being offended at all. Izuku started to strum the guitar and soon started to sing.

Stopping the recording, The boy then turned to the very pleased and not to speak blushing Kyoka and asked"H-how was that".The earphone jack still was speechless but soon said"T-that w-was amazing Izuku".The girl was twirling her earlobe around her finger to calm down.

A little while after when Izuku was editing and fixing parts, Kyoka asked"Do you know who asked for that song..".Izuku, without looking away from the computer said"Uhh I think their name was Punk rock, But why do you want to know Jirou-San?".Kyoka said in a nervous tone"Well...I've might of...texted that...".This made Izuku spin in his chair in confusion. In what world would Jirou want him to sing that, And speaking of She was an audience." W-Why d-did y-you makes me s-sing that"He stuttered. Kyoka, Still twirling away but faster and looking away from him, Said"Well, it's my f-favorite song and I-i didn't know you were Isound. Which is also my favorite tuber...".Baffled, he hadn't expected his classmate would be his fan, let only request such a song. The silence went between the two.

Kyoka still had one more question to ask and Broke the Silence"There is one more thing I want to ask of you Izuku".He nodded as he was still processing the event."Can i...we play together".He lifted his head with an EH! Look. Hadn't finished his mind process to be Might with a bigger problem, But out of panic, he answers "Sure, That wouldn't be too bad. Let's meet tomorrow around 4".The girl screamed in joy and said"Great, Thank you Izuku. I can't wait! See you tomorrow".Kyoka had walked out of his room, leaving him stuck there.
