That night, the wind blew pretty hard, bringing cold February dry air. The horizon now was swallowed by deep darkness. The silver moon has risen, revealing its form together with its thousands of flickering friends; stars.

In one dark hallway, a brown-haired man walks in silence. His sturdy body was reflected by a few dim lights, which gives the man a lonely companion: a shadow of night.

He's walking in solid steps, but could not help covering his fatigue. For a couple of times, he glanced at the black watch that was coiled around his wrist, bringing his two bright blue orbs to watch every second that moved away.

It was already past ten.

He was sighing, filling the silence of the night with heavy breathing. A feeling of regret engulfed his heart as he knew he had wasted several minutes to return to his house first before coming to Citadel.

His short brown hair looked a little damp and because of that, he squeezed his thick black shirt over to cover his big body from chilled air that seemed to enter from window gaps. Once again, he brings his two blue jewels to his watch which kept saying that time was moving.

His usual frowning face now painted by tiredness and impatience. He swung his legs faster, as fast as he could so he could arrive in front of a room with a high black door, decorated with a small bell of pink spring flower pendulum.

That room is his destination tonight. The room of his little roseate girl, the room that he had neglected for weeks—because he must go outside for his mission.

The man sighed heavily again, letting it go to express his frustration. Once again, impatience burst in without mercy, filling his chest with an unpleasant feeling.

This emotion was new to him. An emotion that he never once felt before his little girl came in his life.

The highest rank man in Crownsguard never imagined he could feel that feeling. He was embraced by an overwhelming longing that even makes him able to drive his car past the speed limit and walk in a hurry like this.

Who would have thought, he, who used to accept his king's request as a task—be a father for Eos's second crystal's child—developed a very deep feeling for his little girl who always followed him wherever he went and called him 'papa'.

Yes... before, Cor Leonis only saw the girl as a responsibility given by the leader of this country. However, after spending time together with that girl, another affection grew in his heart.

Although not denying that Citadel's servants almost do his job to take care of his little girl—because of his job as a Marshal of Crownsguard, he does not have much free time—, that feeling continues to grow for the child he named 'Crystalcrown'—a name that he gave after three months deciding. She was a precious figure in his life., she was irreplaceable… and she had also become a part of Leonis.

He who had just returned from a tiring task outside the city that had never been asleep this night at first decided to go to see Crystalcrown the next morning—considering that he arrived at Insomnia around nine o'clock. However, when he arrived at his house, suddenly the urge to meet the child immediately flowed through his body. He didn't imagine that the desire to see her childish face became unbearable for him to handle.

Therefore, after washing his body and changing his clothes, he decided to go to the Citadel. Even if he won't be welcomed by her little daughter, he was satisfied with just staring at her sleeping face.
