"AMATERASU!"

"..."

"Damn you, invincible alarm clock! I will destroy you one day!"

After I finish joking with myself, I hop out of bed, and get ready for school.

"Alright Y/N, you can do this, no big deal, just another day of high school."

And by 'ready' I mean throwing on my uniform and giving myself a pep talk. I needed it for the first few days, but it's become a habit.

After I comb my hair into H/S, I head out and see the usual scene, Sakyu and Inkyu Basu, waiting at my door, but this time they look a little ticked off.

"Heya Sakyu, Heya Inkyu!"

Sakyu: "We have 15 minutes, lazy-ass."

I check the time, and indeed, it is 6:45.

Inkyu: "If we weren't such good friends, we would have just left."

Y/N: "Sorry, friend, but can we get a move on?"

This may seem passive-aggresive to an onlooker, but this is just how we normally address eachother.

We walk to school slightly faster than usual, and discuss the regular things. Clubs, friends, yada yada yada.

Upon arriving at school, we walk to our lockers, change our shoes, and go our seperate ways.

'Should I check in with Megami, or Taro? Oh wait, I forgot, Megami isn't back until tomorrow, her flight was delayed.'

I check Taro's usual location and drumroll please...

Yep, he's there, just like usual.

"Yo Taro, what's up?"

Taro glances up at me.

"Nothing much, just read-"

"Reading a book, yes, but what's going on right there?"

I lightly jab Taro in the forhead.

"Just wishing I had a better book to read, this one's kinda boring. I prefer action over mystery, anyway."

You hear some leaves rustle behind you, take a glance back, but don't see anything.

"Y/N? Earth to Y/N."

"What? Oh, right, sorry, thought I heard something."

"Ok? Well, I'm gonna go, It's almost time for class."

I check the time and see it is in fact, 7:55.

"Well, see ya later Taro!"

"Later!"

The bell rings, signaling the beginning of lunch.

I head to my locker, open it, and grab my bento. I take a peek inside.

"Steamed salmon, my favorite! The rice is a nice touch too, I guess."

Since the box is too small for a drink, I grab the soda I brought as well from the bottom and bring it with me to my seat next to Taro.

"Y/N?"

"Yeah?"

"You remember the time I wished I had a better book?"

"Um, yeah? What about that?"

"The strangest thing happened, some girl handed me a copy of the most recent One Punch Man manga. It was weird... Almost as if she heard the whole thing."

I can tell Taro is a little perturbed, but this seemed to be a random thought he had, rather than an accusation, or something.

"Did she say anything?"

"Yeah, she said 'I heard you liked action books, so I decided to get this for you.', she acted a little shy, it kinda weirded me out."

"What did she look like?"

"Well, she had black hair, but she kinda hid her face, I couldn't see anything else."

The bell rang once more, signaling the end of lunch.

"Well, see you after class!"

*Timeskip brought to you by Y/N sniffing some tranquilizer. +5 points in biology, 10/20 points required for rank 1!*

The bell rang for a third time, signaling the beginning of cleaning time.

??? Pov.

I giggled in the closet, hoping to attract her, and it works.

Before she realized what was going on, she had already been knocked out cold, the sedative working quickly.

I placed her in the instrument case at the end of the closet.

"She won't talk to my Senpai again. Ever."

I walked back to the nurse's office, quickly replaced the tranquilizer and syringe, and left.

Y/N Pov.

The bell rang once more, signaling that cleaning time was over.

"Well, that was tedious. My arm is gonna feel sore for a bit, jeez."

I walk to the gaming club, where Midori usually is, and see she isn't there.

'That's... odd. She never misses a club meeting.'

I ask all the club members if they've seen her, but none of them have.

'That's concerning. I should look around, she might be in the bathroom or something.'

I walk to all the bathrooms, stand outside, and say her name, but no luck there either.

'That's scary. I need to tell someone, immediately.'

At least I would have, but the bell rings, signaling that all students must leave.

'I'll ask around tomorrow, maybe someone else knows where she is.'

I head home, unusually sans-Midori, and go to bed.

??? Pov.

After waiting a long while, I successfully bring them home. I tie them up in my basement, and go to sleep.

Today has been a long day.
