chapter nine

Zayn's POV

I wake up with a start when I heard a loud noise coming from down stairs, I get up very slowly start walking towards the stairs I hear one of grandma's pans hit the floor with a loud bang i gasp and jump a little." Paul dear can you go wake zayn up breakfast is ready" I hear my grandma say" oh thank god, for a minute there I thought someone broke in" I say to myself as I start walking down." No need to wake me up, I heard a bang down here thought I come down and see what was going on" I say walking into the kitchen as. My dad and grandma take a set at the table serving themselves big round pancakes, eggs, bacon, orange juice and oh shit coffee. I can feel the vomit rising I run up the stairs as fast as I could making it just in the nick of time," eeeww" I once I stand up and flush and head over to the sink to brush my teeth, I hear a light knock on my door and  a soft voice asking" are you ok zayn?" My dad asks just on the other side of the door." Yeah dad just the not feeling well this morning i'm go enjoy your breakfast, I'll be right down" I say hoping to have some quite time before I try eating anything." OK don't take to long, you know how your grandmother gets when you don't eat" my dad say before I hear his footsteps fade away, I sit down on the cold tile floor shivering a little and my mind starts to think about what is wrong with me, after a while I decide to take a shower, maybe the hot water will help me relax and maybe make my stomach feel better. After my shower I head back down to the kitchen and sit down and start to eat a little bit of food, half way through eating a feel this little flutter in my stomach that causes me to drop my fork, my hands move towards my lower stomach and place my right hand on it and the fluttering feeling stops," that was a very weird feeling" i thought to myself. Once I finish with my breakfast I go up to my room and change for the day, as I pull my favorite shirt on that said" cool kid's don't dance" when I hear my phone go off,

I look at the message with wide eyes and I type in a quick reply
To liam
Hi li, it's ok I was going to give it to you the next time we seen eachother, I've missed you babe I hope your ok and didn't into much trouble with your parents for being gone for two days. I push send and put my phone in my pocket and make my way out side. Start walking in to town when my dad stopped me" are you heading into town zayn?" He asked" yeah thought I would go for a walk" I tell him hoping that he will let me," ok when you make your way back can you please stop by the store to pick up something for your grandma?" Dad asked." Yeah I can do that"" ok head inside your grandmother has a list made up for you" dad say as he makes his way to the lack for his afternoon fishing, when I walk through the do my grandma is at the sink washing the few dishes from breakfast," hey grandma dad said you had a list of things for me to pick up?" I say looking at her," yeah sweet heart the list is on the counter" she says looking over her shoulder giving me a large grin. I grab the list a kiss her cheek goodbye and start my walk to town, I was half way to town when I heard a twig snap right behind me, I stop walking and just listen to my surrounding, nothing seems to be going on, I start my walking back up when I feel large arms wrap around my lower stomach and I give a loud and shocked scream." It's ok love it's only me" I hear his soft soothing voice be for I turn around to face him." Liam" I say lunging forward and wrapping my arms around him in a tight hug, I hear him laugh a little and hugs me back," I've missed you too my love and no when I got home I wasn't in trouble for being gone for two days I was really shocked about that one myself" liam says to me answering my last text to him, I smile and lean up to give him a quick kiss on the cheek," where are you off too this fine Monday morning?" Liam say as he takes my hand in his and starts walking again towards town," I thought I would go for a walk and my grandma would like me to go to the store for her on my way back." I say looking at at him," well would you like some company for the rest of the day?" He asked sounding a little nervous almost like he thinks I would say no." I would love some company for the day well actually I would like company every time I walk or by myself." I say blushing like mad," you know your really cute when you blush right?" He says looking down at me," i-i-i- I do? I never really look at myself when I do." I say stuttering a little. Liam and I burst out laughing it takes a few minutes for both of us to calm down before we start walking again," so what have you been up to the past few days?" I ask as we slow our walk down," well not much really I trained and talked with my parents, I um I uh I told them that I found my mate" liam say looking at me with a slight blush on his cheeks, my eyes go wide when he said that, wow did he really tell his parents about me?. " you told them about me? I still haven't told my dad that I found my mate" I say," you can tell him when your ready to love, I don't mind waiting" liam says leaning down placing a soft yet gental kiss on my lips, the kiss starts to heat up a bit when I hear something move just behind liam I break the kiss to look behind him, I just about have a heart attack when I see a big grizzly bear standing there I scream causing liam to turn around fast and tense's up when he's eyes land on the bear before us, I start to shack liam must feel me shacking an engulfs me in his big arm's, the bear continues to just look us when it bows it's head and turns and runs away. I stay in Liam's arms a little while longer before I gentely move back to look up at liam," what was that all about?" Liam says still looking at the spot where the bear was just a few seconds before," I don't know but it's happening a lot lately" I say just above a whisper." What do you mean zayn?" Liam asks" well um when we first meet at the library I was walking home and a buck scared me and it bowed it's head and just yesterday a mother deer and her young one by the lack when I went for a walk, she bumped her young one over to me and it pointed it's nose at my stomach and the mother bowed her head and then today with that bear" I explained hoping liam understood," that is very strange behavior for animal's to display" liam says still sounding a little shocked," my dad seems to think it because I'm a omega, he said that they bowed there heads when the last omega died and has no doubt that they bowed there heads the day I was born" I say." Well I think it's pretty cool but I also think that we should continue our walk to town" liam say taking my hand in his and stared walking, when we reach town I notices people giving us strange looks well mostly me, I think I even seen some people bow at him a few times" how weird" I thought to myself, we make it to the store and grab a cart and I start reading things off the list and liam would go grab it," and last thing on the list is---" oh my god a pregnancy test?" Why on earth would my grandma need one of those for?" I thought to myself," what's the last thing zayn?" liam asked looking at me waiting for the last thing to be said," um uh i'll go get it you head to cash meet you there" I said and stared making my why to the family planing aisle, when I get there I see a lot of pregnancy test and let me tell you there are a lot to choose from, I take out the list again to see what one she wanted, early detection pregnancy test, once I find the right one I head towards the cash and see that liam has paid and already waiting for me outside," hi is that everything for today?" The cashier asked," yes that's all" I say" OK dear that will be £15.50" she says and I hand over the money and walk out stuffing the test in my beg and walk towards liam, as we start heading back we pass a cute little coffee shop and I got this really strong whif of coffee and I could feel the nausea set and I started to gag a little bit" zayn are you OK?" Liam asks me concern very evident in his voice as I start to ran to a trashcan near by, after I fiunsh vomiting I feel a large hand rubbing soothing circles on my back." Are you OK love?" Liam says still very much so concerned about me." Yeah I'm OK liam it's the smell of coffee makes me sick" I say reaching for my water bottle to wash out my mouth.when we reach my house everything is very quite a little quite for my likeing, usually my grandma would outside in the garden singing as she works and my dad would be cleaning off the fish he caught this morning. I open the front door and head into the kitchen with liam right behind me, when I step into the kitchen I stop dead in my track's as I see I bed basket of veggies dumped all over the fooler, it almost looks like a bull ran through here, I turn around too look at liam who has wide eyes as he takes in the state of my kitchen," my god what happens in here?" Liam say the sound of disbelief in his voice," I have no idea" I say" well I think we should clean it up for your grandma be for your dad comes home" liam say setting the Bag's on the counter bending down and started picking the mess up.

Liam's POV

I think we spend a good 2 hours cleaning up the mess in zayn's kitchen, zayn puts the broom away when we hear the front door and hear a man's voice" zayn?" The person who I'm guessing is his dad call out," yeah dad we are in the kitchen" zayn calls out and I feel a warm tingle go up and down my spin when he said we,Oh shit I'm about to meet zayn's dad and I just got really nervous. I think zayn notices my nervous twitch and walks over to me taking my hand in his and I feel myself immediately calm down and relax but that is shortly lived as I hear heavy foot steps coming closer to the kitchen, I see zayn's dad walk in looking at both of us his eyes seeming to well up with tears, I hear I slight gasp come from zayn as he slowly walks over to his dad," dad what's wrong?" Zayn asks" y-y-your grandma had a heart attack this afternoon, she's gone zayn" zayn's dad say has he breaks down crying on the floor. I start to feel uncomfortable being here when there is a such a sad family moment happening right infort of me." I'm sorry for crying in fort of your friend zayn" his dad said," well um dad his not my friend he's my mate" zayn says sounding really nervous," oh" zayn's dad says sounding very shocked." Dad I would you to meet liam" zayn says walking over to and taking my hand again," it's nice to meet you liam i'm sorry that I had to meet you under such sad conditions" his dad said sticking his hand out for me to shack. Once every thing seemed to calm down a bit we all sat around the dinning room table zayn's dad sitting across from zayn and i , my palms are sweating my heart is going a mile a minute," so liam what do your parents do for jobs?" he asked," oh shit I never even told zayn that i'm a prince yet well I guess it's now or never" I say to myself." My parents are King and Queen Geoff and Karen Payne" I tell him hoping that it doesn't mess things up with zayn and I." So you are prince liam I kind of thought so, I seen you and your family at the annual festival last fall" he says." So dose this mean I can't see zayn anymore?" I ask him hoping that the answer is no and that I keep see him I really don't know what I would do without him," well liam I see nothing wrong with it just be good to my boy, he's all that I have now" he say" oh thank you Mr?" I say " call me Paul liam" Paul says giving me a small smile as he get up from the table and heads down the hall." Your a prince?" I hear zayn ask me in a small voice," yeah I was going to tell you today I promise" I say wrapping him up in a gentle hug placing soft kisses atop his head, I hear him giggle a little and raises his head with a little smirk on his face" so that would make me princess zayn?" He says trying to hold back his laughter," that would make us the future King and Queen of the land" I say and watch his face pale just a little at that," Queen me?" Zayn says. " yeah I know it seem like a big thing right know but I promise i'll be right beside you all the way" I say kissing his forehead chuckling a little bit, I notices him yawn so I stand up and bend down to pick him, I bring him up to his room and lay him down on his bed, I turn and was about to leave when I feel his small hand grab mine and pull me back, I look down and see him staring up at me," please stay with me tonight" zayn asks sounding like a small child bagging for something," OK love I'll stay the night" I say taking my shirt and pants off and climbing in with zayn. Zayn cuddles up to me placing his head on my chest and 3 minutes latter I hear his breathing even out and and little snors leaving is mouth, I get comfortable and let sleep over take me.
