First, draw the basic guidelines!
Next, draw the head and the shoulder. The shoulder is optional but I just use it as a base for the neck.
Next, draw the snout. We'll be fixing the shape of the snout later. (Unless you want it to be a mudwing then by all means leave the snout like that)
Now you draw the neck! The neck has to go a little past the shoulder to make it look like it has a stomach. (Well obviously it does but without that it just looks weird.)
Then, you share the mouth and draw the horns! (I also erased the guide lines)
Then you draw the eye! This is just how I draw dragon eyes, you can draw them however you want.
The mandatory nostril. How will they breath other wise??!!?
The mandatory ear. (Which I usually forget..)
There you have it! The basics of a dragon! You can use this for anything! Rainwings, night wings, and even sky wings! (I changed the horns because I'm going to make it into a nightwing!)
I hope this helped! This is for beginners or people who just want to try out a new style!
