Ok so this is my second attempt at writing on here, so excuse any grammatical or spelling errors.
AVALON
*Beep Beep*
I stir in my sleep as I hear my alarm blaring, "Ugh shut up!" I say as I try to shut it off. I shut it off just as my assistant Kernice, comes bursting into my room with breakfast and my itinerary for the day.
"Good morning boss, we have a hectic day today so I need you to eat in 5mins and head to the shower so we can get a move on." she says.
"Good morning babe!" I say while getting out of bed. She starts rattling off everything I've got planned for today while I stuff my face with bacon and eggs, "Babe, what's that you said about meeting my mom for lunch?" I ask as I'm stripping to go into the shower.
"Oh yes, your mom wanted to meet at her restaurant for lunch at 1pm, she said that it's about the business." I heard her say while she's going through my closet looking for a suit for me.
I come out of the bathroom and head straight to my dresser to put on my under garments and the clothes Kernice picked out for me. "Damn babe I'm loving this color on me, so where too first?" I asked my assistant whilst admiring the dark purple hue of the two piece pants suit.

If you're wondering why I call my assistant babe it's because she's one of my best friends. Kernice is my assistant while Denesyia is my second in command.
30 mins later
As we finally pull up to Destro Enterprises, I jump out the car and head straight for my private elevator to go to my office, I simply nod at all my employees whilst going about my business.
As we reach my floor my junior assistant tells me that my 8 o'clock is waiting for me in my office. As I push open my doors I go into business mode.
3 hours and 3 meetings Later
"Boss you got lunch with your mom, I've already called your driver he's waiting in front for you." I hear Kernice say as she's helping me put on my coat to leave.
"You coming or bring you back something?" I say as we walk to the elevator. "Nah I've got lunch with the sexy accountant and don't forget that you have a meeting at the warehouse for 4pm." She replies while smirking .
10mins later
"Hi mom, why couldn't you come by the house to have this discussion?" I ask her as I'm taking a seat seeing that my mom has already ordered lunch for me, she's ordered all my favorite foods, I'm not going to like what she's about to tell me. 🙄🙄🙄
"Well Avy, as you know I'll be stepping down in 4 months and you're supposed to take over, "
"You mean I WILL be taking over in the next 4 months?" I say as I cut her off.
"Yes you'll be taking over but you'll need to find a husband." She says with a straight face while picking up her tea cup.
I began laughing, "Hahaha, good one but seriously mom a husband 🤣🤣" I say still trying to calm myself but as I look over to my mother to see her serious expression my smile was replaced with a scowl.
"What do you mean?" I asked her in a surprisingly calm manner.
"You must find a husband in order to fully take over the business before I step down or your cousin Yohann takes control." I watched my mother in disbelieve before I exploded.

I got up to leave but before I could leave the table my mother simply says, "I do not want to give your power hungry cousin the business your father and I worked so hard for so SHUT THE FUCK UP, PUT ON YOUR BIG GIRL PANTIES AND GET A FUCKING HUSBAND, you have 90 days.
In my 25 years on this earth I only heard my mother curse twice and today is the second time so that could only mean she's serious. I nod and storm out of the restuarant and I head straight for my warehouse I need to kill something.
