It all started with a flash of light. When I was little I was always told to wish on a shooting star, but for some reason every time some one would see one I would miss it just by a few seconds, but I would. As a little girl I would always dream of what I would wish for when I finally saw one. I sort of remember this one tv show where a shooting star hit Earth, and when it hit it released something strange, but powerful. Which was basically what happened on a larger scale. I would always ask my Daddy why that never happens here. He would tell a million times over that the stars never reached Earth. Boy was he wrong.
The day I saw my first shooting star I was 11 I closed my eyes and I wished real hard. The star was gone in a matter of seconds, not because it died out because it was traveling top speed around the Earth. A few minutes later the whole Earth shook with a large THUMP. All the lights in my house went off as a wave of pure power swept the world. Terrified I ran looking for my mom only to find her dead along with my father. No stab marks or anything that showed that they were killed, because it was the star that killed my parents along with everyone else's. The lights began the flicker. The strangest thing happened a whir came up behind me. Next thing I know I am being chased by a blender trying to kill me. I ran, I ran as far as I could from there. I lived my life on the run gathering and eating food on my way. I tried to join a pack of teenagers like my self once or twice, But I would always find that they where infected with I have now come to call the Galacticalousa Virus. I know it's a big name but when you have nothing to do but think you have enough time to come up with weird big names. Anyways this virus isn't exactly deadly to them at least. It turns them into mindless flesh eating zombies, so friends was not an option so I have been running ever since for what now has been two years.
