Now as a lonely teenager things have been tough and hard to get over but they say that is life, well I clearly hate it. I moved into the city about a year ago and it is been a learning experience every day. The forest that once held the supposed portal of another world has recently been under military surveillance and currently no one is aloud to enter the area. They say its for an investigation of a virus break out. I believed the soldier for it made sense that a virus could have taken over that little town in the forest.
That very night i experienced a nightmare kinda. I was woken up by a mysterious voice telling me they were here for me and need me in the forest where a supposed portal would lie. So i went to the forest but was denied entrance due to the virus that was apparently in the town. I decided to leave for it was just a scary dream. Well as I left something felt off as i took the dirt road out of the entrance of the forest. I heard footsteps coming from my right. I was about to be attacked by a bear. I wasn't prepared for it to happen, but then I remembered bears don't in habit the forest so what could it be that was head right towards me. As I prepared for the surprise attack from what ever it was. It tackled me down and quickly dragged me out of the dirt road almost as if it was hiding me.
It turned out to be my best friend Sean that is trying to figure out the conspiracy of the military being in the forest all of a sudden.
"what the hell man you scared the living out of me" I grunted
"ah, like i scared you bro" he said with a smile
"let me guess.." I said as I was interrupted
"hey what are you two do.." the soldier said and then paused
"eh?!!!" we both stood stunned by his gaze
the soldier than proceeded to almost completely ignore us as he proceeded to walk back down the dirt road.
We were both confused as to what just happened. Normally we are caught and sent home, but tonight was different. There was a feeling of uncertainty that this was simply not a virus in the near by ghost town. The next thing that happened would change my night forever.
A voice came from the trees and it sounded like an unspeakable language to us. Me and Sean look at each other completely horrified and I tell him "the trees are speaking Vietnamese" we both giggle and hear it again.
The voice came from right behind me. I turn to see total darkness but somethings off. Sean wasn't beside me anymore.
"yep I'm totally gonna die out here now" I Said
