The hard feeling he felt stayed the whole lunch. Even when his dad was now eating in another room. He didn't know what he felt, anger? sadness? It wasn't guilt, he totally didn't feel guilt.
His appetite was lost, he just ate in silence and slowly. His siblings and mother were talking about dinosaurs. He only did a comment or two, a void chuckle or two escaping at his sister's silliness.
Was he really ungrateful? Well, he didn't feel that way. He was grateful about everything his dad did for his family. Why did his dad was so angry? Was it the fact that he tried suicide?
Maybe that was the reason his dad thought he was ungrateful...
He decided death than the live he was trying to give him.
