Hello everybody! I'm the author, you guys can just call me Zombee! Before reading this story, I need to get some things straight. Firstly, I don't plan on this being a fluffy love story. So if you're looking for that, sorry but you may want to click off ^_^; Secondly, I don't plan on making Tord a good guy here. In fact, he's going to be a very very bad guy >:v One of the worst. This chapter will be more like the pilot, and it is centered around young Tom and Tord in third grade. I think that's it for now, if you're still here then I hope you enjoy the first chapter!
Now on to the actual book!!! >_<
—————
It was the start of September. The sun shone bright and radiant. The breeze cool and strong. The sky blue and clear. It was the perfect day to be outdoors and playing, too bad that it was also the first day of school. The very first day of third grade.
A small child with spiky brown hair sat in his assigned desk. He pouted and inwardly groaned at the fact that he would have to stay in this boring classroom for the whole day. This??!! This is the "great" school that his parents were rambling about? A small, overly bright and colorful room full with a bunch of kids. Who was the dummy that came up with this idea? He was so bored already, and it was only the beginning of class.
If he knew that this was how normal kids learned, he wouldn't have tried so hard to convince his parents to go to an actual school. Now that he thinks about it, homeschooling wasn't so bad. The kid looked up to the ceiling with a thoughtful expression and pondered the possibilities of him being able to convince his parents to homeschool him again.
Oh, who was he kidding? His parents are no pushovers, and after all the tantrums he pulled, there was no way they were going to pull him out of school and teach him again.
This time the kid actually groaned out loud, full of annoyance and boredom. He saw the teacher was calling attendance, and the stupid students were just ignoring her and chatting away. He rolled his nonexistent eyes and laid his head on top of the desk, closing his eyes and trying to fade away into sleep.
Key word is "trying".
"Hey, hey."
The brunette raised his head and looked around quickly for the source of that voice. Then he felt somebody poke the back of his head. Turning around, he glared at the kid behind him.
"What?"
The kid behind him had a more lighter brown color to his hair, which was styled like horns. He wore a red hoodie and had on a lazy smile. When he spoke again, Tom took note of the strong accent the kid had.
"You're not supposed to sleep in class, you know?" The kid spoke lazily. "The teacher will get mad at you."
Tom looked back at the teacher. She was still trying to call out attendance, but failed in making her students actually pay attention and listen.
"She won't notice, she's too busy trying to get those dummies attention." Tom looked at his lap and then straight into the other kids eyes. "And anyways why does it matter to you? You're not my mom, leave me alone!"
The kid looked surprised at Tom's outburst, but quickly regained his smile, although it was a little tense now.
"Calm down friend, I'm just trying to make sure you don't get in trouble on your first day here."
Tom glared at this stranger. "How the hell did you know it was my first day?"
The kid's eyebrow twitched in annoyance and he chuckled. "I've never seen you before, that's why~. If I did, I would've remembered. Your eyes would've grossed me out and make me remember who you are for eternity~." He said with all the fake innocence of the world.
